They haven't sat down and talked about how to approach a marriage where they haven't had much opportunity to get to know one another? They haven't planned to spend time together each day? Darcy hasn't joined her on her morning walks? What kind of feather-brained idiots are they? If they had approached this odd situation like logical people we could have watched their getting to know one another unfold, and no doubt there might have been problems, but a story doesn't have to be constant fighting. Frankly it's not much fun reading about people being unpleasant to one another because they haven't the sense of a brick. |

| Guest chapter 19 . 7/5/2018 While this is a nice story, I wish it had really gotten into the "meat" of emotions. It's almost as if you were so afraid of angst that you refused to delve deeper into the characters' emotions. Elizabeth forgives Darcy at almost every turn. It would have been nice for her to hold onto something, anything, longer. |
