thedragonaunt chapter 1 . 2/21/2017 I loved this! It's so very sweet and tender. I love how you describe Sherlock's broken body and fractured soul. And I particularly liked the quote from Jane Eyre, which is perfect for the way Molly sees herself in Sherlock's eyes. Sherlock is definitely more of a Mr Rochester than a Mr Darcy, with his secret pain hidden from view - not a mad wife in the attic but a buried childhood trauma. And John is so right to say, 'Well, what do I know.' Very little, Dr Watson! Very little at all. It really is about time Sherlock blocked Irene Adler. She's so not good for him! Thank you for sharing. :) |
Marion the Geek chapter 1 . 2/10/2017 I'm crying. That was so sweet! |
penny dreadfully chapter 1 . 2/5/2017 This is beautiful! I've always loved Jane Eyre, and it fits perfectly here. |
Purple-Sherlock-1985 chapter 1 . 1/26/2017 I loved this, and liked how you emotionally portrayed Sherlock. About time he had awake up call of what a bastard he can be to Molly. Though that text message tone is nasty. I think it is one of the most stupid and unnecessary things the writers could have possibly thought of. I do not like Irene as a character no matter who plays her. I have no problems with the actress who portrayed this version of the character I have seen some of her other work and liked it. What I do not like is how the character is wrote as a female more sexual version of Sherlock. There is only one Sherlock Holmes, and no manipulate woman, whether she is portrayed as a thief, spy or even as a dominatrix is gong to cut it for me. I have never liked how someone as intelligent as Sherlock is blinded by a pretty face, intelligence and a puzzle and challenge. I think because she such a puzzle to him and challenges him has him blinded to how manipulative she is. I mean for Christ sake she worked for his enemy, that is pure shit worthy. |
Naomi Armendariz chapter 1 . 1/22/2017 Lovely! I particularly enjoyed the bit from Jane Eyre. Very appropriate. |
