Foe those who just want to know if this story is worth reading without reading my whole review, I FULLY RECOMMEND this story as of the time of this post.
i must admit I was thrilled to find this gem in the sea of fanfic. Im pleased with how the story has kept my interest, the way the author writes even seemingly monotonous scenes of the OC's daily life keeps you hooked. Additionally, the way flashbacks and thought processes are portrayed work well to show how confused or jarring it is for the characters we are reading about.
The main OC is intelligent and strong-willed, but she still has flaws here and there and can slip up, because after all 'she is only human.' I must say I really love her so far, which is important, because a bad main character/original character can ruin even the most perfectly told stories.
I'll be honest, even though you don't see them too often my favorite parts are her interactions with Undertaker. Maybe, it's because despite being a canon character, they similarly don't really fit in the world they are in? I could'nt quite say, but their shared page time is wonderful and I live for it.
I look forward to reading more and seeing where Lilith's schemes take her, author willing.

This just made my mind explode with the the possibilities and what if's, that could happen later on. I wonder if she knows where HE is from. I love this character, I love how the story is going. Now to continue reading ~

It is a good story, if not a little bit confusing. It's written okay, well it's actually written beautifully, but I prefer stories that are more straight forward? I guess is the word. This isn't what I usually read. I read to chapter 10, I'm afraid, before I lost complete interest. I know that the story has something important going on, but it kinda've seems dulled, as if this was just reviewing a memory to Lillith or the Phantomhive or the Queen. There aren't little details, in fact there aren't many details besides a little bit over the basic, that have me becoming attached to the characters. I think that is what really bothers me, I'm not becoming attached to Lillith, because I really don't know her. I don't know what she feels or any memories from her point of view, not just Madame Red's or Viscount Druitt's, and maybe that is what you were going for, to give her some mystery and have us ask questions, but I don't think it really balanced that very well. Giving us just the right ammount of mystery and confusion as well as giving us a character we can love, hate, adore, despise, etc.

I figured it out as soon as you described him last chapter. I laughed so hard I cried. He's my favorite hitman so the curled sidburns gave it away. How many know him I wonder. Im tempted to read reviews to see if Im the only one who did. Renato aside Im enjoying this story. Though Im curious about the romance tag. Is that a later game thing or just for the implied?

Late, but I've realized that Lilith seems to actually be like really alone. And really broken like how she does things in routine, wants things to stay the same in Lord Laughlefts office. IDK I'm sure that I wrote this before but I love how you write the characters. You make me really feel for Lilith (IDK but it seems that she was young when she was thrust into black Butler world) and now im even more interested into what her goal is. I think it was a couple chapters back, but lol anyways just thanks for the update!

A very different fanfic :) Characters especially Lady Laughleft are well written and interesting. I like that you chose to follow her not right after her arrival, but years after :) She settled down and is able to think more clearly (no fangirling lol)
However the first 4 chapters "intro" is too long, almost discouraged me to continue reading (thankfully I didn't). Maybe because it was at the 3rd person but it was like watching the character from far, not knowing what she was thinking. It's a nice idea to present her though, but maybe you could condense that part a little.

I just binged this series and it's sooo GOOOOD! I love that it focuses on her with some interactions from plot point characters. I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter ️

Thank you for the update. This chapter hit me hard, but that's alright. It's quite saddening that for all Lady Laughleft is, she too is hurt. But I get it, she is over-confident because she can be. She has skill, title, and a good reputation that just works for her. But when you take it away, like she did when she was disguised as the poor diseased woman, it would seem out of place. Gosh, I hope her bruises heal soon. She's a very strong woman mentally and maybe this won't affect her decision making skills. After this, I would like to thank you for not forgetting facts, or making it all about one person! It's so nice to have different perspectives, oh, and thank you so so so much for the double update!

Italian mafia! Sinclair! Curled sideburns! Holy shit! I know this isnt a crossover, but wow I'm badly wishing it would somehow have Kuroshituji versions of KHR characters!
