The difference between Ron's "teaching style" and Harry's teaching style is that Ron is thinking about the flight as an ends to a means, for his own good. Harry is thinking entirely of Hermione's good, and is surprised that he is benefiting from lots of unexpected bonuses.

Ron's six-step plan has worked, but not for him.

Interesting, that.

That was vet sweet summer story to get two of my favorite characters together. It was a pleasure to read

A sweet story.

This was equally heartbreaking and heartwarming. The extent of Harry's abuse was rather shocking, and I think somewhat a bit extreme, but you handled it well I thought. I would actually love to see this Harry and Hermione in the war.

I loved the progression their relationship, the shopping trip was great. The touch of developing romance you put into their scenes was lovely to read. Ron was a bit of a caricature of himself, but you didn't bash him overly. I liked his resignation, lacking in anger, in his last paragraph and how he would ask Hermione for help.

A bit heavy on the slut-shaming of Ginny I thought, and while apt for a lot of teenagers, serves no narrative purpose really. I liked Ginny outside of that, particularly how helpful and intuitive she was when Hermione was in shock after the flying lesson fiasco.

My favourite part is probably the kiss, followed closely by the shopping trip and when Hermione put the bruise stuff on him.

Would you be so kind as to write another story spinning off of this one? I would LOVE to read about the Dursleys and Dumbles getting what's coming to them from a witch as brilliant and CREATIVE as Hermione...of course, Harry gets a shot in, too.

Gah Ron is such a moron! He deserved that slap and more slaps as well. Ginny is a bitch for trying to manipulate both Harry and hermione and Hermione and Harry both need to learn to be much more confident in themselves.

But then when I was a teenager, I was much more like Hermione - very much a bookworm and nowhere near comfortable with boys.

It was not until I was in my late 20s before I finally spoke to a therapist who helped me to stop being guilty for how everyone else sees me, and to just think about how I see me. The phrase I learned that saved me was - It's not my problem.

This is what Hermione and Harry need to learn as well.
Ron needs to learn to stop being so selfish and entitled.
