Well goddamn if this isn't the saddest thing ever. Like it's incredibly bittersweet and really squeezed at my heart, imaging an aging Sole Survivor having to deal with the ravages of time. Reminds me a bit of the song "Hurt" by Johnny Cash, if I'm perfectly honest. Awesome job and keep up the good work!

The answer to the question "What happened to Danse and Curie", which someone posted, is that when I wrote this, I'd barely interacted with them in the game, and the only companions I'd actually travelled with were Piper and Cait.

You sure have a way with words: evocative and suggestive, one thousand words and the whole life of a man, and what a life, emerged stark clear from the screen. Everything fits seamlessly, like the kind of harsh, poetic justice the Fallout world manages to breath at times. You captured that perfectly, with what you said and what you only shadowed.

I got to say, I loved this. I loved this so much. While I'm always a sucker for retrospective Sole, this really took that sentimentality and slapped me in the face with emotions.

The diction was amazing and it flowed really well. Kudos to you!
