She was being horribly abused and fighting back against it to the point of repeatedly attempting suicide, and the actual goal Scratch was aiming for was to abuse her to the point she'd commit atrocity after atrocity just to be allowed to finally die. And you're taking that and saying she was throwing tantrums because she was impatient.
