Reviews for One's Road to Remembrance
MoonlessSkystorm chapter 21 . 7/22/2019
Did you really use Fogbound Lake from the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Darkness and Sky? Good job! Those are my favorite videogames!
HamClad chapter 42 . 3/15/2019
What are you talking about? Dinosaurs vs Dragons is always a good idea.
BuddhaBuddha chapter 20 . 10/22/2018
Sigh... having too much backstory to a character is just as bad as too little...
DAve and Bob chapter 64 . 5/11/2018
I was a bit harsh on this story, but do think it wrapped up somewhat nicely. I do wonder if you are going to do some more things later on, but I am satisfied with out this ended despite some of my problems earlier with the story.
Tohka123 chapter 64 . 2/26/2018

Coral the Leviathan chapter 64 . 2/24/2018
62. Oh god, those guys are gods?! I thought they were demons! I am surprised the normal group of people didn't faint like the victims of One Piece's Conqueror's Haki or Bleach's high spiritual pressure vs the really weak ones. And Jiemma... you'd think he'd have some sort of common sense in him, but no. He decided to go and get himself killed just to prove he is the ultimate mage. Well, at least he's dead. Never liked that guy. And yikes! Craig! NOOOOOO!

63. Okay, somehow Craig is still holding on to life! I don't know how, it shouldn't be possible, not that I'm complaining, but dang does he have no limit in a fight or what?! And he's against the god of death, for goodness sake! Well, he was at least, until he defeated him and the other gods. Man, he's unbeatable with chi on his side.

64. Well... that's another way of destroying the council and faking your own death. Way to go Craig. And now both he and Cana, mainly Cana, finally remembered their childhood~ Ooh~ And they made it official too~! Oooooh~! And in the ending... Craig, how can you leave her alone?! Do you have any idea what you've done?! You beast! In more ways than one!
Jalarious27 chapter 64 . 2/24/2018
Well, it was a fun ride will it lasted, and I am glad that I took this ride. I am a little disappointed to say that I hitched on the ride closer to the end, but still, I am glad that I was a part of it, at least for a little while. When I first started reading this story, I wasn't sure what to expect. I wasn't sure if I liked it, or if I didn't like it. It was just such a unique twist to the original story, that I wasn't sure how to feel about it. However, over time, I began to appreciate it more and more. This story was very different, but it was also very interesting. Now, as Craig and Cana's journey is coming to a close, I can't help but feel a little melancholic. It is sad to see it ending, but at the same time, I do agree that this end was fitting for Craig and Cana. It doesn't make it any less sad, but Craig has definitely gone through worse. At least now, he is alive, and he and Cana both know of each other. Although, I guess what I said before was wrong, because their journey hasn't ended. It is just beginning, but where it goes is for us to imagine, and for Craig and Cana to find out.

As I read this final chapter, I couldn't help but feel a mixture of sadness, happiness, and anger. I was happy that Craig was alive, and ultimately that he and Cana have finally expressed their feelings for each other. Though, I was a bit sad, knowing that they are going to be apart for a while. Still, they will meet again. It is just a matter of time before it happens, and when it does, I am sure that they will get back to their regular routine of barking down each others throats. Although, I was angry, because Craig didn't deserve such treatment. Sure, Crocus was destroyed, but the lives of the citizens weren't lost, which is what really matters. A city can be rebuilt, but lives cannot. Craig is dangerous, but he never asked for any of this to happen. He took what life threw at him, enduring pain and hardship for over four years, only to be kicked into the ground over and over again. Still, he kept getting back up, only to be kicked into the dirt once more. The more I follow Fairy Tail and Fairy Tail fanfictions, the more I begin to despise the Magic Council. They are horrible. Yes, Craig may be dangerous, but he has saved the world many times at this point, only to be regarded with fear. It isn't right, but Craig doesn't let it bother him.

I feel bad for Cana, as well as the rest of Fairy Tail. Although, by the way it seems, Erza and Natsu's relationship has continued to grow. I may be wrong, but it makes it seem as though they have already gotten over Craig's 'death.' Sure, he wasn't the nicest to everyone, but he was still a part of their guild for a while, so I think it is a little odd. Though, I guess the fact that Natsu wanted to burn the Magic Council to the ground after learning about Craig's situation says something. Natsu was always against Craig, but ultimately, he didn't want him to die. I think that it was a nice touch.

As for the suicide bomb, I don't see how people could think Craig was dead from that, after everything he has survived. Well, at least Fairy Tail should've assumed that. The public probably not, since apparently his abilities and other things were kept away from the public. Still, a point was made. Craig can no longer live in Fiore, without someone wanting him dead. He is considered too dangerous. They wanted him dead, and now he is, at least to their knowledge. Still, this was quite possibly his only way of getting out of the situation. Sure, he could've fought his way out, but I doubt his injuries made it any easier on him, despite having healed up before the trial. I am also not mad that the council was caught in the blast and died. They really do make me mad. Of course, some of the lives were innocent, but Craig didn't let that get to him.

...Oh Cana, how I feel for you. One time was all it took for a mini-monster to be made. Still, I find it ironic. Craig was never a fan of alcohol, and now Cana can't drink it, because of what they did. Also, no wonder her stomach is stinging. The mini-monster is probably biting her with those sharp teeth of theirs. Craig will definitely be in for a shock the next time he sees Cana.

Well, with Craig looking for his lost memories, and Cana soon to find out why she hasn't been feeling so well, I believe that this was a great place to end things. I am still sad this story is ending, but at the same time, like you said, it was a good run. I will definitely stick around for your other stories, as well. I am looking forward to what you have in store for all of your fans! Though before I end this review, I feel like it is necessary to give thanks to a certain mutated individual.

Cranky, despite how scary you are, you gave us all a lot of excitement in these past 64 chapters. Thank you, for teaching us so many of the lessons that you've learned in the past four years. I will never waste food again, and I will continue to respect nature, otherwise you may show up and knock some sense into me XD Anyways, I wish you the best of luck in getting your memories back, as well as the next time you see Cana. You will definitely be in for a surprise, but let's just hope that Cana doesn't kill you first.

With all of that said and done, when one door closes, that allows another door to open. This story may come to a close, but there are still your other stories that we have to look forward to.

And, for the final time for this story, this was an excellent chapter, and I can't wait to see what else is in store for us! Goodbye Cranky and Brownie, we will miss you!

ValvraveRider17 chapter 64 . 2/23/2018
Dude. This story has been amazing. I wasn’t expecting the ending of Craig making Cana pregnant. Oh dang things are going to be wild in the sequel, if there is going to be, but I still love it! Makes me so eager to know what happens next!
Dracoknight545 chapter 64 . 2/23/2018
That was one epic finale to the story, which not up to "Contender's Bonds" ending. Also you really left Cana as a future 'single' Mother at the end with the Tartaros Arc coming up with Criag's attack which could be blamed on said dark guild. Still this one heck of an adventure from start to finish let your previous works and I hope that you work on the Contender's spinoff story about Nic, Vanessa and Erza going around Kalos for the year skip.

Also I kind of hope that you do maybe a oneshot of Cana and Craig's child asking about his/her dad post-ending some day, not now or maybe make some artwork of their future child on dA. Heck maybe you can make a one-shot of Craig returning to protect Cana in the final war against Zeref and his followers with her being pregnant.
Chance Green G King chapter 64 . 2/23/2018
Honestly dude...perhaps a little prelude? Because I'm rather interested to see what would happen a few months later.

But it's your choice and I accept that, besides 64 chapters is defiantly something to be proud of. Not many people can pull it off.

Also speaking of challenges, perhaps a My Hero Academia story? If not then I'd like some addvice on how to make a decent start.
The Storm Master 567 chapter 64 . 2/23/2018
It was a good way to finish the story man.
