You wrote this almost a year ago, and even though I've read it only recently a couple of times, I've never left a comment/review. It's touching and insightful. I can totally picture him lying there, dying, and Jo kneeling beside him, crying and cuddling him in the end. But NOT the end (me, grinning from ear to ear). Vintage - may I call you Vintage? - wilt thou grant your true followers with another chapter or two? They written words are as a much-needed salve to be placed upon the open wounds left on our hearts and minds by the TV pillager, the Evil Show Canceller, ABC, better known as "A Bunch of Crazies". Thank you.

Oh, I do wish that you would add another chapter or two to this. It's brilliant and you've painted such a great picture of the events. Please consider continuing this as a longer story.

Omg, this story. You wrote all the emotions so powerfully that I was actually crying, especially when Jo started singing. I mean I knew Henry would be fine in the end, but he and Jo didn't know that and everything they were feeling was so real and so raw. If you ever wanted to continue this, I'd love to read the actual reveal stuff.

Very nice introspective. My only comment is that I would have expected Henry to be more terse in his speak. instead of "It's not your fault" I would have expected "Not your fault". But other wise wonderful story.

Oh my gosh, so many death bed feels! You captured the regret and fear and pain and clarity and powerful friendship so beautifully.

This story was so beautiful! It was beautifully written and the story line was so refreshingly different. I breathed a huge sigh of relief when Henry popped back up in the river! I thought he was going to die! I really want to know what happens next but I know this is a one shot...but if you ever want to write more for this story I will be the first to read it :)
