Excellent, excellent story! I absolutely loved what you did with Prowl here, and how you tuned in on his emotions. And Prowl and Sam's conversation in Ch. 4 was beautiful.

I love this story. Prowl's presence in Bayverse is one of my favorite things to read. Thank you for writing this and, as the story is not marked complete, I hope you'll eventually post more chapters to it!

Question, when is the sequel to "The Tie That Binds" coming out?

Also, very nice characterization of Prowl and Sam. His character is incredibly convincing and I would love to see his interaction more in later stores.

I don't mean to be a stickler, but there's a typo in either chapter 3 or 4 (I couldn't find it again). Somewhere, you have a "see's" with the improper use of an apostrophe. Good work on everything else!

Intense! This is brilliantly done, as I would expect. Prowl is complex as the seemingly controlled ones usually have the most inner struggles and are deep. You write him and that aspect well. I love this!

Medics make the worst patients.

I very much like that Kick-off's fate is to be forgotten. I almost wonder what Jazz will make of that cowardly, selfish spark. If the 'Bots weren't so hard up for parts, to not even be salvaged would be more complete. There is no place in the Pit for traitors such as these.

And I very much like how close you are playing Prowl and Jazz. Hard to find an odder odd couple of mechs, but they are each the other half of the same coin in many ways- Prowl gaurded the Cube, while Jazz gaurded the Prime, the peds Cybertronian history stood on.

Sad but beautiful idea.

Most Excellent! I'm glad that Prowl is back online (even if it took 4 days). Also glad that Ratchet will be (relatively) soon up and about, raising Cain as only he can, that is once he relaxes his vocal processors enough and let the Fems get him operational (without harassment that is, he can save it for later when HE has them back in his servos after they injure themselves, lol). I liked what Sam tried to do for Prowl, but that is a process that Prowl will have to figure out for himself, but at least he knows that Sam is there for him, as is Optimus, and will help him however much he will allow, without reservation. Thank You. TTFN
