Reviews for Old Debts
SelkieShore chapter 13 . 5/23
Ooh, nice sequel hook. This was great - would have made a good "monster of the week" episode with a good deal more intelligence than a lot of the actual "monster of the week" episodes. Amherst's resentment of Lee reminded me a bit of the dynamic between Rimmer and Ace in "Red Dwarf" - in a good way! :D Nice work on this, I'm off to read that promised sequel.
Elise Deschat chapter 13 . 7/27/2019
Wicked...it still has its primary target and we have a possible sequel...how will Harry get rid of it to protect Crane? Will he be able to release it from its task or destroy it before it can harm Crane again?

Great narrative.. glad to able to read in one sitting
Karen50 chapter 13 . 2/18/2018
I enjoyed your story very much. The mingehe was great! Only Lee Crane could have made an arch enemy at a high school science fair. Thanks for the great read
Ne'ith5 chapter 13 . 1/20/2017
Read this in one sitting and I loved it! The monster was creepy, like an old horror movie. Almherst however, was creeper still, with his unreasonable obsession, and anger. Well, back to work, sorry for the short review. Your story really made my day! Thanks for posting.

Melinda chapter 13 . 6/3/2015
This mingehe is too sinister. I wonder what Lee did not felt when he woke up and saw the creature at the infirmary. That fear. You'll probably bring this character in the near future. I want to see how Crane will get rid of it. Nelson should have gotten rid of her playing in some underwater trench. But let's wait for the continuation.
Any chance of doing a story with mummy? I love the curses of ancient Egypt and since Crane had a mental connection with a, I think it would make a great episode with your imagination and creativity behind.

Thank you
Shane chapter 13 . 6/3/2015
I gotta start dropping by here more often, what a great story. Nasty critter you came up with, definitely something I would hate to meet in the middle of the night. Thanks for writing and sharing.
Jan L chapter 13 . 5/30/2015

Hi Caribou Kid,
I see another Sea Star left their greetings so I decided to add my congratulations to your wonderful work. Thanks for such a good tale. The amount of research you do is admirable and your characterizations of our favorite characters are so well done. Love your work and looking forward to more. Signed the other Sea Starr
The flower chapter 13 . 5/30/2015
I found this site by a friend. My God you really have a lot of talent as a story teller. Your mingehe was murky. Your research paper, as she said is deep, because you didn't let a loose end, and the end will lead us to a future and a reunion with this mingehe. Nelson hope to be more present, because our beloved captain is going to be screwed, to escape the clutches of this mingehe.
Thank you.
Sea Star chapter 13 . 5/30/2015
I loved your story. I felt like an extra in this wonderful fiction story.
But this creates a big problem, next you're going to have to be much higher...
I will stay here and wait for your Web work.
Guest chapter 13 . 5/30/2015
Lee Crane doesn't fit the mold. He towers over most men, has no interest in marriage or domestic affairs. With an innate taleno to problems, gives us fun guaranteed, since his sobrenone shouldn't be crane and Yes in trouble. Were it not for the role of Nelson and Chip and why don't our Jamie Lee would be about 7 feet. "A clever, restless adventure, with some of the most memorable and powerful evil characters (mingehe and Amherst) I saw on the web for a long time. I loved every chapter, as I followed the mingehe through a tale very well (but mostly true!)-does Angela have right about your cover Caribou Kid?!) violence, courage, stubbornness and resourcefulness our Captain will still go through many and your humble readers we're here waiting. " — Professor of Angela and Cia.

PS-I don't need to say a word of English, you already know heheheheheheheheheh
