That's sad. Jack's lost so many friends and loved ones over the years; it never gets any easier.

This was lovely. Poor Jack does his best to preciates his friends while he has them and loses track nevertheless. He is only human so I expect that disconnect is to be expected. We all get busy and lose track of once treasured relationships. Maybe we should do better in our own lives because we know there are those who can't but would if they could.
