Absolutely brutal. Pearl and Amethyst are among my favorite Steven universe characters, and I love when people translate them well to human beings.

in this case, pearl's assault is absolutely horrifying; and this is from someone who was raised on slasher films. This hit home

This story is pretty interesting an Alternate Universe take on the world of the Gems- er Humans Now I guess? Nice take on their character by the way! I wonder what will happen to the poor innocent little guy Steven if he found out what happened or if suspects something and asks his mother. And poor Pearl.
