Reviews for Hermione Granger and the Marriage Law Revolution
Guest chapter 25 . 7/11
Neville the moron
setokayba2n chapter 31 . 7/10
Well, good ending, story and all of it... And yet, somehow while reading the ending of this good piece of art, it give me a couple of questions...

- What happened to Teddy Lupin? The son of Remus and that many put Harry as the godfather (Not sure how true)

- Did Luna learning as a psychiatrist helped her to understand things better in her fight against the wracksprouts and the 'others'?

- After the therapy, did they think about talk again with Dumbledore?
Guest chapter 31 . 7/1
Amazing. Vive le revolucion. I feel it is coming but hope its not so bloody.

Lovely work :) I'm not sure poor Neville is so conservative, though.
Greyff chapter 2 . 6/30
just a guess from reading so far: 1) Hermione cast those spells on herself to get things moving, 2) She's going full blown Dark Lady as what she's doing is going absolute dictatorship using the outrage about the marriage law as leverage/motivation for her takeover, 3) i could certainly see house elves being turned out without being bonded simply because some people aren't going to want to swear an Unbreakable Vow - particularly if it is either worded by a lawyer or has room for interpretation that can end up killing them, 4) i could honestly see McGonagall choose to retire as soon as the shock is over. She's fought dictators before as you've pointed out during the confrontation and here Hermione, whatever her plans and motivation, is going that route. It's either retire or fight and she's unlikely to win or remain undetected in this setup.
JacqP chapter 2 . 6/18
Wow, they can't half hold a grudge! They did not come here to play!
maschl chapter 1 . 6/12
Just came back to reread this story, and just let me say that I absolutely love it!
Language and plot development are top notch. Your take on the wizarding world is very intriguing, and you paint a very realistic picture of how political revolutions tend to be a lot bloodier than strictly necessary. Harry and Hermione are no white knights in shining armor here, but they are the kind of heroes the wizarding world deserves.
stevem1 chapter 31 . 6/11
This is a great Harry Potter meets bloody revolution and total war AU.
El Espectador chapter 31 . 5/27
10/10
Cithara chapter 1 . 5/17
THE only Marriage Law fic worth reading! I don't know what covid-19 lockdown has done but so damn many Hermione/Malfoy fic of this type being posted. Seriously in three pages of updates eight of them Dramione marriage law stories other week!
Silly fangirls (we all know that sort) see themselves in Hermione/heroine roll & want to be with Tom Felton, so pick the most unimaginative plot to 'force' two totally incompatible characters together! All so they can get the Draco ( ) fap on and flood their panties ..

You've both avoided this magnificently AND shown what a farce original Hr/D prompt was with intelligence & humor. Well done indeed & bravo. Love your fics generally but this is now in my top 3 your ones. Thank you.
Guest chapter 3 . 4/26
I've tried to get into this well-written story but I just can't. The power inequalities are just too vast regardless of how "nice" Harry supposedly is. I just can't. Hermione should have just taken her family and run off to America or Spain or something.

Good try, tho'.
Guest chapter 31 . 4/26
A most excellent (re, re, re)read, as always.
Concolor44 chapter 31 . 4/27
Certainly, this is in the Top Five Best war-setting stories I've read. Possibly vying for first place. You did a MASTERFUL job with the political angles.

Adding to Favorites.
Concolor44 chapter 20 . 4/27
This story has been amazing on all fronts.
You give us crisp, believable dialogue.
The fight scenes are realistic and move at breakneck speed.
A twisty and engaging plot hangs everything together.
The political maneuvering seems spot-on.
The "voices" of the characters are genuine and consistent.

And the grammar ... oh, the Glorious Grammar! You handle the technical niceties of the Mother Tongue with a deft, sure hand. The words don't get in the way of the story. You have achieved Excellence!

I would have commented sooner, but stopping that long wasn't really an option.
Guest chapter 30 . 4/15
Not having a meeting with the Prime Minister seems like a gaping plothole, it's almost as important to their future as the war was.
Guest chapter 30 . 4/15
Peacetime should give them rest, and it seems pretty early to trust anyone else at the reins.
