I really would have liked to have seen the conversation between Gwaine and Arthur. For a story about Gwaine, this seems to be concentrated more on Merlin. Perhaps next chapter you could go back to show what Gwaine and Arthur said to each other. And why would Arthur be disappointed at not hearing about Gwaine's noble birth from Merlin? That was not Merlin's secret to tell, it was Gwaine's. And Gwaine was hurt too, that should be addressed. He is strong, yes, but still a man, and they can be slightly stupid when it comes to judging the limits of that strength.

Hey Aerist. Well the story is really hotting up now!. Loved the last two chapters. Merlins reveal to Gwaine - wonderful. Gwaines acceptance - even better. The healing of Gwaines ribs, the trek back to the city and finally the confrontation with Arthur. So much going on. Loved how Merlin thought Gwaine had told Arthur his secret. He almost blabbed it out himself! Priceless.
