Damn, I can’t help but love his prideful idiocy. Like he seriously thinks that after insulting her, calling her a mad dog, mongrel yada yada, that she would be flattered by his proposal!

Saber has a point that he’s crazy. Also the way she phrases, ‘I come here for the final battle, and here you are for a wedding ceremony?’ Yes it sounds too incredible to believe and yet that’s Gil for you.

I also find it very entertaining that Gil bothered to learn the slang of this age, while Artoria has like np idea what he’s talking about.

Thank you for this funny read and that open ending was great! Leave it to the reader to decide.

There was a bit too much Gilgamesh-logic in this. I feel the need to perform an exorcism on my brain, just in case any of it has taken root in there.

Saber. Was. So. Awesome! I loved her snarky retorts and the way she dishes Gilgamesh. I only regret that she never got to punch him in the face... Ah, if only it was canon. I mean, not Kiritsugu becoming a vegetable, or a corpse, or anything, but it would have been a nice way to go.

Well, this was definitely an interesting piece. I'm glad my friend recommended it to me. You definitely capture the essence of Saber and Gilgamesh here and I like the fact that this one-shot expands on what could have happened had Kiritsugu hadn't been able to strut in the way he did screaming, "Saber destroy the grail!" I definitely liked the dark humor you put into this. It really fits in well with the serious tone you've got going on here. Nice work. I hope you write more of the Gil/Saber dynamic. You write it very well. :D

Let's hope that Gilgamesh got incinerated by Excalibur, even though I love Gilgamesh X Saber, because if that actually happened it would be the apocalypse.
