Nicely done! I like when observant Daryl notices something not quite right with Carol & then takes care of her: "This was why she was drawn to him even though he was an ass." Perfect.

Great little story. I could have seen it on the show, the way those two were after they all left the farm. By the way, I live in Canada. I know all about frostnip on the feet and on the hands, and boy does it hurt when the blood starts flowing again. You're right, the pain gets worse before it gets better. I cried many times because of frostnips when I was a kid.

I like it. There something so good about a decent hurt/comfort story. And you are reading my mind about the boots. I liked all the cold references. Daryl was acting cold. The weather was cold. Her feet were cold. Their relationship had 'cold feet'. Ha! Like it.
