Inej is about to leave Ketterdam on The Wraith, and there's one person she hasn't said goodbye to.

When Inej lies on the bed injured from the ambush Kaz decides to do the unthinkable. Set during the first days on the ship.

It starts out with Inej having a theory... things happen, people are confused - and I find I cannot write without ANY plot at all, so this turned from a smutty one-shot to a multi-chapter thing that will contain my take on background stories, as well ;)

Wylan has never worked well with words, so he sees the word in colours, and hears it in music. He watches the rest of the gang, and he wonders who they really are. By the end of his musings, he can't help but think that they're entirely unstoppable.

The distance between them hasn't broken them. It never will. He'll stand on one end, and she'll stand on another. And yet she'll sail back to him, and he'll wait for her. And she'll love him, and he'll love her. And when they meet, the stars will collide. This is the story of the boat that sailed back to Ketterdam and the boy who waited for it to come.

[Fightingverse] It wasn't until she stepped off the boat onto the docks of Ketterdam that Nina Zenik realized she hadn't really expected to ever come back. Or Nina returns to Ketterdam and goes on a life-changing field trip with Kaz.

It has been a few months since Inej left to fulfill her destiny. Kaz runs his empire distraction free, but nothing feels right. Kaz was sure that letting her go was the right thing to do, and he still believes it is. But what would have happened if he had had the courage to tell her exactly how he felt?

Inej is a spy for the cause she believes in, Kaz is the smuggler she has bad blood with, Wylan and Matthias just defected, Nina's the last survivor of her order, and Jesper doesn't know what he's doing. When they team up against the Empire, things go as well as can be expected. / The SOC cast in a Galaxy Far Far Away. No need to have seen Star Wars to read or understand this fic.

Kaz Rietveld died when he was nine years old, lying on the Reaper's Barge beside his brother, Jordie. Kaz Brekker was born from the ashes.

What happens when the modern day Dregs find themselves taking care of a sick Kaz Brekker? Who will be more concerned for the demjin's health?
