I feel I am a fair and very patient beta-reader. Usually, when beta-ing, I read through a story multiple times. I do try to find things to praise a writer on in their work along with any critiques I may have. I am actually pretty open as to what I beta, and I am not so low as to give a person a hard time because of something they write or believe in. I would trust that any writer requesting my help as a beta would be willing to take in new ideas that I may suggest and consider them, not just act offended. I do not appreciate crude language being thrown at me and do expect people to show some maturity when taking in a critique. Other than that, I am happy to beta anything anyone asks of me.

I have a wide knowlage of grammer, sentence structure in paticular. I have taken advance English courses in the past and am in one currently, where I have been praised on good grammer and diction. I am a very open person whether it be religion or politics or sexual orientation, so do not expect me to be bigoted. I keep up with current news as much as I can and can catch references going back several years. I am also very well read. The Scarlet Letter, The Adventures of Huck Finn, Cannery Row, and The Poisonwood Bible are some of the novels I have recently read. I am an avid reader, which helps me understand how books are structured. That is pretty much all I can tell you about my strengths, I hope you consider the facts I have given you when making your decision about whether or not I am the person you wish to beta your piece(s) of literature.

I am definitly not the world's best speller. I can tell if a word is spelled wrong, for some strange reason, but I do not know if I shall be able to spell it myself. I try to keep a dictionary nearby, but I may miss a word of two. I have been getting better recently though. I may perhaps also miss the meaning you are trying to convay through your writing, but I do try my best to understand the POV mindset. I am definitly not perfect. Though I hope you would please regard me kindly.

As previously stated, I am open to all stories, though I may have favorite categories or pairings, I am not biased against others. I judge works of literature based on how they are written and what work was put into them, not by what my personal likes or dislikes are. I am probably more prone to understanding 'popular' categories, such as Naruto, Harry Potter, or Final Fantasy, but I will accept all works of literature.

I will beta any work of literature an author wishes me to beta, I have no qualms about such things. Yet I do not appreciate stories that completely disregard any sense of decency and fill up paragraph after paragraph with vulgar words and phrases, unless that is how the character acts within his/her own characterization. Unessesary vugarity is something that I do not wish to read if I can help it.
