Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Hey guys (: I've decided that I would like to be a beta-reader. (: Not quite sure EXACTLY what that entails, but whatever. I'm a polite person, and easy to work with. I believe in constructive criticism, but would always point out the positive elements in a story. I would want people to keep in contact with me whilst I am beta-ing, and give me details such as: when the beta-read story is needed by, and, er... stuff like that (: I would also like people to give credit to me as the beta-reader in the author's note at the start/end of the story. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Although I myself quite often fail at spelling, I am always very quick to find a spelling error in a story (how does that work?), and am good at correcting grammar. |

Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I would prefer to beta romance stories (mainly fluff) 'cause I'm a sucker for anything cute. Or maybe angst. I love dark sad stuff. Hm. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I wouldn't beta-read smut. Sorry. Oh, and I also don't like FxF - no offense to anyone (and I'm not homophobic); it's just not something in which I would want to beta. |
