Moana, Aliika, and their friends restore the Heart of Te Fiti. Life returns to the islands, but their adventure is just beginning. Now, the gang will sail across the sea, beyond their region, to discover new lands, dragons, and making new friends/allies.

After fighting a big dragon and a tyrant, Hiccup wouldn't think he would have any more adventures as wild as those. Yet, he must set off to try and stop this 'Darkness.' Meeting two people who will not work together, being on a time limit, and trying to keep himself alive around a Demigod, two limited-power elements, and a mentally challenged chicken does not help anything.

A Night Fury hatchling was washed up on the island of Motunui. She was found by little Moana and her friend, Keoni. She was accepted by the villagers and is named Aliikai. Moana and Aliikai grew up together as sisters by bond, and together, they will save their home from the darkness that was threatening to destroy life.

After Trader Johann's death, Hiccup decides to journey south with Toothless. On his adventure he finds a fleet of strange ships under attack from pirates. While fending off the pirates Hiccup is badly wounded and recovers onboard one of the ships. While recovering Hiccup meets Moana and together they must set out on a quest to stop an evil that could threaten both their homes.

Sixth Installment of The Big Six Series. After the Battle Against the Sinister Three, The Big Six are mysteriously transported to a new world. The team gets separated in a storm. Due to a family curse, all the women in Moana's family are pledged to the vengeful god Maui after they give birth to a daughter to carry on the line. To avoid this fate, Moana has vowed never to fall in love, but that changes when she meets Hiccup.
