(ROUGH OUTLINE AFTER PROLOGUE) Following Zod's attack on the world, Clark Kent is trying to adjust to his new life working for the Daily Planet and as the Man of Steel. However, when a superhero group called 'The Elite' show up, Clark is forced to team-up with a man who was thought dead for over a year...the Batman.

In this sequel to Signs and Portents: Forgiveness is for the Living, Signs and Portents: Meanwhile in Gotham City, and Man of Steel, Superman defeated General Zod, saved Earth, and lost all his Kryptonian heritage that was sent with him, but Lois knows about another woman who can fly.

When Superman suddenly can't handle common thugs, Batman immediately questions it. Deciding they should finally meet, he urges Commissioner Gordon to ask Superman's assistance in capturing Batman. Superman agrees to apprehend the fugitive Batman…but promptly vanishes. When he returns, there's something terribly wrong with him.

REVISED out of screenplay format. A year after the events of Man of Steel and two years following The Dark Knight Rises, Metropolis and Gotham City are threatened once again. But this time, it won't be just Superman and Batman who answer the call to action. Nolanverse story.

Superman visits Gotham to check in on his friend shortly after arriving back on Earth. But, Batman isn't the angry loner he was when Superman left...
