Edward Kenway found the Observatory but Roberts doesn't keep his word. Edward destroys the Observatory and expects to embrace damnation but he ends up on a cliff in the middle of nowhere. But he isn't alone.

I looked down on the ground and saw a faint blue glow. I went over and picked it up to find it was a ring with strange, but intricate designs on it. Being curious, I put it on and moments later, a bright gold glow shined out of my bag and then it was dark. This is my first ever fic.
