![]() Author has written 13 stories for Song of the Lioness, and Young Blades. My avatar is of the gardens of Haddon Hall in England--one of the most beautiful places in the world in my book. Favorites to Read Thoughts and Quotes (which I suppose are just the thoughts of someone else...) I have far too much else I should be doing, but fanfic is so gosh darn addicting. I love coming on to find a new, glowing review or to see that one of my favorite stories has been updated or to read a scrap of witing that is eloquent and well thought out. These rewards are all up to you really. If you must know, I am a student of history and French. While I enjoy all historical settings, my specialty is European history from the Renaissance to the Enlightenment (roughly 1400s into early 1800s)--you can probably see why I love Dumas and Hornblower so much. Also of scholarly note: I have just been accepted into a ten week program in Africa in early 2009, and I am not quite sure how that is going to affect me and my writing yet... Stay tuned. I like when characters grow over the course of a story. Real people change because of the slightest chance experiences, and I try to reflect that in all my stories. I don't truly write my stories. They have already written themselves somewhere in my crazy mind, and I must quickly do the typing. Ah, the joys of late night inspiration! Kel is the greatest Tamora Pierce character. Ever. In my humble opinion... ;) I like stories of her after POTS ends, especially interesting twists... cough The Journal cough Humor is the reason for living. It usually makes my life more interesting and I sincerely hope it does the same to yours too. Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing. It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves. Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature...Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. Prince, n'enquerrez de semaine Should be read by every person alive. A witty saying proves nothing. Works In Progress Hitomi: A Convent Girl at the Palace - WILL BE UPDATED in a timely fashion! Lots of familiar POTS characters pop up! I have a very definite plot sketched out, and it will be done eventually. I'm very excited about it. Songs of Kel and Dom - Clarification: These are all one-shots that take place in different story lines of K/D. They are not necessarily one continuous plot, although I guess some of them could be taken together just fine. Will be updated randomly when I hear a good song for it. I hope you enjoy. And, if possible, listen to the songs for the full mood of the oneshot. A Midwinter's Eve Dance is a very similar type of story but without the song part. Links to My Other Dabbles ~ Young Blades Saint or Sinner (Virtual Series Episode 3) - I co-wrote this story for Unofficial Young Blades (now Young Blades and Beyond forum) in late 2005. It is episode three in a Virtual Series that continues where the show left off. Please read it and the others!! I love this story! You can only see it here: http:///index.cgi?board=vsepisodes&action=display&thread=1166907683 Veiled (Virtual Series Episode 5) - I was the head writer of this episode for UYB/YBB in 2005. It is the final episode in the virtual series. Interesting twists and turns, I think. Go here: http:///index.cgi?board=vsepisodes&action=display&thread=1168491022 |
