![]() Author has written 8 stories for Gravitation, Kyo kara Maoh!/今日からマ王!, Naruto, and Bleach. I'm 17, a Naruto fangirl and consequently can't write fanfiction about anything else except Naruto. Which is kind of sad, in a way, since when I started my journey in the realm of anime/manga fanfiction, and as you can see from my fic list, I wrote Bleach, Gravitation and Kyou Kara Maou! too. I still love Gravitation, but Bleach and KKM! were left in the dusk when Naruto charged into my life. But anyway, moving on; I think today, February 26 08, is the first time I'm submitting something in, what, a year? Or two, who knows. Anyway, my preferences have changed a lot in the past year (or two), and while I used to be a devoted yaoi-fangirl who resented anything with boobs, I have began to like het pairings alongside slash ones. Now, if I were to make a list of my current favorites, it'd be something like this, NaruSasu; My OTP for all eternity. It's uncanny how these two complete each other in every way - their relationship, even if it were just platonic friendship, is raw, violent, passionate and intensely emotional. And not to mention, they look hot together. While I enjoy SasuNaru too, with seme!Sasuke, I simply love protective!seme!Naruto. Also, bitchy-and-demanding!uke!Sasuke is best of the best, though, they're the most realistic when they're equals in their relationship. KakaSaku; This, of course, works for me only when it's depicted with Sakura as an adult. I love the way Sakura's character has grown from the annoying little weepy fangirl she used to be into this strong, powerful and brave young kunoichi. She, in my opinion, is the glue that keeps the remaining pieces of the original Team 7 together, and because I think Naruto and Sasuke see only each other, well, Kakashi and Sakura doesn't sound so bad together. Kakashi, just like Sasuke and Naruto, is a part of Team 7, and he needs to be regarded as that member also - in which I believe Sakura would excell. NejiSaku; Neji is a bit like Sasuke - introverted, private and intelligent - but he is also fundamentally different from Sasuke. I think, that Sakura would find it easy to fall in love with him, thanks to the shared similarities, but she would also find it much easier to stay in love with him thanks to the differences. Sakura, like mentioned above, is a strong ninja, with morals and principals - character traits I'm sure a man like Neji would appreciate. And, Neji would be totally whipped, of course. ShikaSaku; Like I stated in the NejiSaku part, Sakura is strong, and has a healthty outlook on life - being smart and intelligent on an academic level must be something Shikamaru can relate to. In retrospect, I think Shikamaru's calmness and level-headed nature would compliment Sakura's hectic life as a medic-nin and with the most troublesome team mates ever. Also, if I should describe this pairing with one word, the first one that comes to my mind is 'witty' - I can imagine Shikamaru and Sakura having verbal fights over anything. Anyhow, that's it. As you can see, I really am a complete Narutard - but proud of it! |
