My name's The Burning Writer. I used to be known as Mr. Meme. So what should you call me now? Well, Burning is what I'd prefer, but I guess you could also call me Mr. Meme if you want as well.

What drew me to writing fanfiction? It's a question not a lot of you might ask yourself or even me. But it's something I've asked myself at least once, not counting writing this out. And, honestly, the answer would probably be that I've always liked coming up with stories. Especially for media I already enjoy. I just never had a way to express those story ideas to anyone who knew anything about the fandoms I'm in. Sure, I had my parents and younger siblings, but for a large chunk of my life my siblings didn't understand the fandoms I was talking about and the same went for my parents.

The thing that actually caused me to make an account and write my own stories was a little Godzilla fanfiction called Godzilla: Pathos. I loved that story, and it saddened me when it was canceled. That story also eventually lead me to roleplaying for the first time in my life, a decision I do not regret. But roleplaying is not what you're here for, it's my stories, so we'll get back on track. My first initial stories were completely Godzilla ones. They are no longer up, at least, not on my page. For all I know, there might be someone out there with complete copies or someway out there to view the stories again. Not sure.

Why are they gone? Simple. I could no longer safely say "I like what I did with these stories". That's something I strive to do. Sure, not everything I'll like. Tastes and opinions change. Ideas are dropped and things just couldn't be fulfilled due to one reason or another. It's happened before, it'll happen again, and I'm pretty sure it's happened to everyone. Following those Godzilla stories was my first Sonic story. Which I canceled not even halfway through because I hated the way the plot was going and didn't know how to save it. After that there'd come another and, admirably, it was a little bit better. Although I did base it off an entire story arc I never read so I was just improvising a lot of the time, but still. Both those stories are also dust in the wind.

That brings me to more recent stories. My Night in the Woods stories. Honestly, that game means a lot to me. Sure, I feel like I could've done better with the stories that are still up and I do want to try my crack at doing new things in the fandom again, but I'm just not sure what to do exactly yet. After those NitW stories I made my first and currently only remaining Five Nights at Freddy's story. I actually still quite like a lot of the things in it, I only wish I could've gotten the sequel made instead of it falling through the way it did. Now, this little tale of my backstory is almost over. All we have left to cover is the Sonic Resistance series. These are stories I love to tell. Sonic: Resistance was the story that put me on the map in a sense. Sure, God of War: The Coming of Doom is much, much, more successful than any of the Sonic Resistance stories, but Sonic's always been a fandom near and dear to my heart.

Well, that's about everything I can think of. That may be an abrupt end to some. But I can promise you, when it comes to making these sort of things, I'm very bad at it. When I'm writing stories, I'm pretty good at endings. I think. At least, no one's complained so.. Anyways, continue for the introductions segment!

One of the reasons I'm a little slow with writing is a general lack of feedback. Especially if I want feedback on a specific story. It might seem attention seeking, but what I'm going to say is true, reviews truly do make a writer's world light up. Whether it be a "Like the story/chapter! Keep up the good work!" or an actual review that points out the good and what needs to be improved on. Some of my best improvements came from reviews. Heck, one of my friends started out as one of the only people who'd give Sonic: Resistance consistent and well done reviews.

I'm not asking for much. I just don't want to feel like what I do isn't enjoyed by others. Because, sure, I write what I want to write and I won't write something I don't like writing. But not knowing if other people also enjoys it bums me out. Anyways, that's all, hope this doesn't come off as bossy or mean or something. I don't want it to be, I'm just trying to lay out something people don't seem to really get.

Dude, you've been with me since.. Basically the beginning. And while it's true, don't really talk much and I haven't read any of your stories as of late, I can assure you it's not of my choice. Like I've said above, procrastination is my arch-nemesis. Even still, you've made a lot of improvements to my writing and even a bit to my life. You taught me the best way to do paragraphs for fanfictions, you taught me that neat little dialogue skipping trick, even let me bounce the odd idea or two off of you too! It really means a lot to me.
