Author has written 8 stories for CSI, CSI: Miami, and Criminal Minds. So this is where I talk about me. I'd much rather talk about my favorite shows of the moment (Criminal Minds and Leverage and Justified and so very much Castle) or my favorite books (Linda Fairstein's Alex Cooper series is made of love, Jeff Lindsay's Dexter will always have a home on my shelf and I'm patiently awaiting Lisa Scottoline's next legal thriller), but if you must know about me, WCD, then here you go: I'm a twentysomething. I was born in Chicago and raised in and around the city, mostly North Suburbs and South Side. I have a dog. Her name is Abby and she is the best dog in the world, I'd be willing to put money on that. And I'm broke so that should tell you something. I love words. I love writing. And I have loved words and writing for about as long as I can remember, which makes the fact that the past couple years have seen a ridiculous decline in the late, long nights of pounding the keys something that boggles my mind a bit. And is something I'm very much hoping to rectify. I already mentioned a few of my TV favorites (like Castle, which honestly I'm not sure how I survived Mondays not watching) but I also have a fondness for NCIS and Burn Notice, Suits and Covert Affairs, and White Collar and, well pretty much anything that comes on USA minus In Plain Sight, Royal Pains or Necessary Roughness. Then there's Being Human and the Closer and a few other odds and ends that may eventually find themselves listed here. As for reading, well, my bookworm tendencies are just...huge. Think books everywhere. And audiobooks and ebooks clogging the laptop in their own sub-categorized folders. Yeah. And if you were to glance at a few of those spines (or file lists) you'd find names like Janet Evanovich and Robert B. Parker. Linda Barnes and James Lee Burke (who in my opinion is a god of descriptive text), Ed McBain, Robert Crais, and old school Grisham and Patterson. All of Nancy Bush's so-far-published Jane Kelly series alongside legends like Christie, Doyle, and Stout, tucked in with Austen and Shakespeare and Douglas Adams. And I'm always looking for new authors to try (I especially love when they write a series) so I encourage recs! So now you know a tiny bit about me (namely that I love a good story). If you ever want to know more, feel free to PM me. I adore people. I think that's about it for now, so I'll bid you adieu. Happy reading, people... |
