Who is Luna Obsessed?

I'm Tabitha but Tabby to most people (although I answer to Luna too...) I'm 15 years old and was born on April 30th 1992. I lived in England until February 2005 when I moved to New Zealand,where I am currently living. I was home-educated for four years but went back to school in February 2006.

My interests include reading,writing,acting,singing,computers, photography and more. :)

I have obsessions with Luna, obviously, as well as skittles, pens and Puss in Boots.

I'm a very weird person and I'm insane. Insane...in a good way, as Ron said of Luna.

At times I don't know who I am, but that should answer the question.

After much consideration, I chose Luna Obsessed. Because as of 15th July 2005 I have been obsessed with Luna Lovegood,although I loved her as soon as I readher description in OOTP.That's almost six months now...a fair while to keep an obsession in my book. So yes, I'm obsessed with Luna. Ask anyone who knows me...many of my friends even call me Luna, especially as our personalities are similar.

How I Entered The Realms of Fan-Fiction

During July/August 2005 I began reading HP fan-fiction...I read nearly all of michelle_31a's fics and then forgot about it. Sometime in September I wrote my first HP fic, Opening the Door. I admit that it isn't brilliant...I wrote it on a bumpy car journey, in a tiny note-book, in my almost illegible handwriting. Not long after I wrote Dudley and the Thestrals and found myself loving writing fan-fiction. I created my account here and uploaded both those fics...next morning I was amazed when I checked my email an saw the amount of reviews I had. I soon got the idea for Unwanted Feelings and wrote it in about seven weeks (admittedly I can now see it's badly written but it taught me a lot). After that I felt at home with writing fanfiction and started writing longer, better one-shots.

I hope to continue writing fanfiction for a long time...it's not something I want to give up quickly. When I get an idea I get really enthusiastic...I cry along with the characters and when I get a good review, I spend the rest of the day smiling. Before September I hadn't written properly for some time and it's wonderful to be able to do that again.

Harry Potter Stufficles...

I LOVE Luna Lovegood. I am obsessed with her. I haven't worked out if this is a good or bad thing yet though. Most of my fan-fics will probably involve her so beware..LOL :)

I ship: Harry/Luna Ron/Luna Draco/Luna (yes I know I'm weird, but I can see her with all three! ) and sort of Hermione/Neville Ginny/Colin..I don't like Ron/Hermione Luna/Neville Hermione/Harry...I don't like any slash pairings and try to avoid reading them. (see Grace, I prefer much more interesting pairs...)

My favourite characters are Luna (obviously) and erm..well I like most people..:-P Out of the trio I probably prefer Ron although I like them all..however since book six came out I've started to dislike Hermione and Ginny...oh well...I can put up with them. :P I also like Rita Skeeter, Umbridge, Minerva, Lupin, Tonks, Sirius...Draco, of course...ok as I said I like nearly everyone. ;) Oh and I'd better put Snape or my sister will kill me...while I am content obsessing over Luna, she prefers Snape.

Recent Update - 12th of March 2007

I've been un-active in the fanfiction community for many months now, and I miss it. I'm not still writing fanfiction - but who knows, when the new book comes out, I might be inspired. I still enjoy reading it, however and am going to attempt to catch up with the stories here that I've missed.

I run Demented Dreams, a Luna Lovegood fanfiction archive and forums. I thought it was about time the internet had one place to find Luna fanfiction - and just that. All submissions and registrations are encouraged, as well as advertising for us if you can. We need as many members as possible to keep the site active and known.
