(.and so i say i don't love you...)

hi there! it's essie here. i used to be YumixUlrich, Musical Wings or xsummer.rainx but i've changed my penname to what i hope is the definitive july rain... i guess i wanted to escape from my old stories... and cheesy usernames. i have the strange particularity of hating what i've written long ago--that's why i deleted everything. i'm sorry, but that's how it is. the people that liked my code lyoko stories have most forgotten about me now, but if you still do remember me... i don't think i'm going to be doing cl fanfiction again ): sorry again.

however, i'd like to start from scratch now. i'm kind of on hiatus now, as i don't write a lot of fanfic recently, both here or in my deviantart (click on homepage above), although if i write something, it will tend to be oneshots--because that's just how i roll. plus, the idea of long-time story commitment is not really my type of writing, and besides, i'm working on my own project, still untitled. so oneshots, twoshots, threeshots... that's basically what you can expect.

i write iCarly fics (pairing: sam&freddie. i just can't get enough of those two; and recently carly&sam, which is just so so cute). i also love motorsports, concretely formula 1, and i enjoy writing slashy fics about the drivers. it's my most active fandom right now, to be honest. if you like my maximum ride fics you'll be disappointed to hear that i don't plan on writing any more fics about it. i mainly started because i ship fang&max, and once they actually got together i found that i had nothing to really write about. so, sorry about that ): maybe i'll change my mind someday. i feel i'm growing up and i'm less and less interested in this kind of fanfiction recently...

now, i'm a teenager. i was born and live in spain, therefore my native language is spanish and not english. so if you find a mistake in my stories, may it be grammatical, or having to do with spelling, or whatever, just tell me in a review. i'd like to improve; i know my english is pretty much native-like, but i still make mistakes.

and, by the way, the first four maximum ride stories i have uploaded ( max's cold, forever, late night talk and locked ) don't have an author's note because they were directly copied and pasted from what i had submitted to deviantart.

about me... i don't rely on music to provide me with inspiration to write. i usually am inspired by other works or by stuff i have lived. or maybe i just get a really good idea that i haven't read or lived (; my favorite tense to write is 2nd person, though i tend to use 3rd person as well. 1st person, even though overused, can provide an amazing perspective into the characters... but it must be used properly.

so yeah, see you out there! please, please, don't forget to drop reviews--they're really appreciated, and i'd like to improve--big time.
