It's nice to know thieves still thrive on this site.

I get it. You like the work. You like it so much that you wish you wrote it, but you didn't. From childhood we're taught not to steal, so what gives anyone the right to take someone else's work and claim it? Are you that desperate for "internet praise" that you're willing to perpetrate the fraud of being an actual author, even when you know that you'll never be able to recreate what you've stolen?

That's just idiotic.

And any dipshit who thinks it's not a big deal to steal simply because they didn't like the material in question, well, they're a dipshit for a reason, aren't they?

Every grammatical error -just like every patch of brilliance- belongs to the person who wrote it and nothing gives anyone the right to lay siege to it. They say plagiarism is a form of flattery, well, you'll flatter us a lot more by writing something on your own and simply mentioning that you were inspired by your favorite authors.

I constantly hear that all the "good authors" are leaving/have left the fandom. Well, maybe they'd stick around a little longer if readers stopped disrespecting them and their efforts by plagiarizing them.

Just a suggestion.
