3-10-13 Update...

After being away from FFNet for what seems like a century, I came back to explain why I am taking down the stories I have published on here over the years. For starters, it has been nearly five years since I last looked at anything on the site - let alone thought about updating my very own work! I was reminded about all that I had done - and maybe even accomplished, if you want to consider it that - on here by a friend of mine earlier this evening, while we reminisced about how we wouldn't have met one another if it wasn't for this little website known as FanFictiondotNet.

Secondly, I was diagnosed with an alarmingly rare form of cancer last summer. The last time I posted anything on here, it had been about two years since my father was diagnosed with end stage colon cancer, and he is still fighting to this very day. I thank each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers over the years, and how you never forgot about works of fiction that hadn't even been updated in nearly half a decade!

Besides all the medical stuff, I'm also working on planning spending the rest of my life with one of my very best friends - a guy who means the absolute world to me. It's a little tricky with having to work around so many doctor appointments, but we're only about a year away from the big day now, and then we'll begin the task of starting a family. A task that is sure to be challenging with having cancer, but I have never been one to turn down a good challenge, and have many friends who want to see a "flawless" baby or two!

As always, I thank you for all of the support over the years. I met some really, really great people through writing on here (BkerBunny, ChicagoKnockout, TakersGurl35, TakerTakeMe, Sharnhorst, SnowAngel2009... and so many more!), and maybe one day we'll meet again. I have no immediate plans to return to writing any type of fan fiction, but will let you all know if and/or when that changes in the future. It's been quite the ride here on FFNet, and I hope you all enjoyed reading just as much as I did writing!
