This story is told from a few POV's but mostly 1st person about an 18 or 19-year-old girl that comes up in the box in the same boat as everyone else. It starts in the middle of the action. (note to returning readers: some of the chapters have been updated or slightly rewritten.) OC is named after Rosalind Franklin to keep consistent with James Dashner's name scheme.

After getting Teresa to finally talk, the box suddenly drops down and later to come back up with another surprise. A girl with long brown hair and brown eyes was found inside, with the only memory of her name and the boy in front of her, Newt. Like all the others, she had a tattoo etched on her skin "Subject WCKD1 - The Light" But who was she? How was she connected to Newt?

When Evelyn arrived in the box, confusion erupted amongst the gladers. In the midst of the confusion, one boy saw through it. All he saw was a beautiful, blonde girl with an accent like him. (Sequel to It Wasn't Real!) The war is over and everything should be fine, right? Wrong. Right when the Gladers thought they were finally safe, a group against those with special abilities begins to kidnap and experiment on people with abilities. The line is crossed when they kidnap Newt. Arthur will do anything to get his nephew back, but will he be the same when they do?

Thomas, Minho and Newt are looking for Frypan and Teresa, whom they have lost in bad weather. In the meantime Newt, who is starting to feel feverish and ill, gets worse every day. ON HOLD

The Gladers have read our Fanfictions and have written letters to express their concerns and to straighten some things out...Because for shucks sake, when are they supposed to 'do things' to one another when they are fighting for survival? And what is with this klunk about Highschool?

Rosalind (Emma Watson) finds herself in a Box, with no memories, no idea where she is, and no friends. When she reaches the Glade, she finds love in Newt. When their relationship grows into a romance, will the Gladers, WICKED or whatever that's out there make them stronger, or tear the two apart? (I think that if this book was made into movie it would look like that okay?)

Everything is muddled for Charly when she finds herself unexplainably trapped in a freight elevator moving swiftly upward, but one thing is for sure. The three sentences written hastily on a note she found crumpled in her pocket. Get in the box. Get them out. Don't trust WICKED. The only thing stronger than her sense of purpose are her feelings for a certain boy with tousled hair.
