I'm back!! dances a jig To all of my fans (however many/few there be!), thanks for stickin' around. Hopefully you're still out there. :) Over the next few weeks, I'll be revamping some of my fics, editing, reworking, updating, etc. Hopefully I'll be able to make great improvements to my little corner of writerly fandom and make you guys proud. :)

During my nearly 2-year hiatus from fanfic writing, I've been trying to stay busy by branching out my professional abilities. Since 2005-2006 I've been:

Enrolled in LongRidge professional writing course ()

Proofreading for a Christian teen magazine

Writing articles for the same

As of Dec. '07, I'm now the Editor of said magazine!! boogies

Blogging and journaling, both public and private

Writing and performing in school and church performances, script-writing, and semi-tutoring in article writing for a non-native English speaker.

As of now, I'm working on my first novel (1st draft written in the 2007 NaNoWriMo competition). It's a crime-based drama set in Washington, D.C. It's definitely a new genre/style for me, but highly motivational, and fun to boot! I've really had a blast writing it, and am looking forward to the editing process, set for completion this March.

As I mentioned above, I'm also currently serving as the new Editor of an Internet-based Christian teen magazine, which, though non-profit, will greatly aid in building up my resume and professional experience. As a proofreader and writer in 2006 and 2007, it's already been an amazing ride, but now it's going to be incredible:D

As my readers know, I write LotR fics. However, since my hiatus, my likes have expanded. I'm now a huge crime show fan, and I'm thinking I may try my hand at some shows, especially shows like Numb3rs, NCIS, and The Pretender. I will probably attempt other fandoms as well, so be on the lookout for lots and lots (and lots) of variety. ;)
