Author has written 21 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Star Wars, Big Hero 6, NCIS, Captain America, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Sherlock, Gravity Falls, Newsies, Misc. Games, and Newsies. Hello Internet. I knew one day we would meet... and now here we are. Gah! You monsta! My mother was right about you!
What I write depends on what I am currently obsessed with. If you see a sudden surge in Marvel fics, I probably just binge watched all three Captain America movies. Sometimes I randomly fall off the grid with absolutely no warning whatsoever. Just warning you now.
I have a list of rules: - Never pass up a chance for free food.
- Never waste sushi.
- Don't EVER call Bucky a villain (or I will kill you.)
- Love your stuffed animals as you love yourself.
- There is no Stony.
- There is no Stucky.
- THERE IS ONLY WINTER WIDOW.
- Always stand facing the flag during the National anthem (even if you happen to be in a deep pool at a swim meet.)
- Carry as much as you can in your left hand so you are free to salute with your right. (OBAMA)
- Stan Lee is amazing.
R.I.P. Carrie Fisher. You were my favorite princess.
Just some information about some of my personal preferences in fandoms to explain why I write the nonsense that I do: For Marvel, I obviously base the majority of what I write off of what the movies give us, because I cannot afford all the comic books. However, I try to throw in as many comic facts and references as I can find, to try and link the worlds. For Newsies, I love both the musical and the 1992 movie. I actually saw the movie first. I feel as though if I could merge the versions somehow, it would be perfect: - I use Ben Cook as the physical adaptation for Race, simply because he rather fits the scripted phrase “Italian beanpole”. However, I like to imagine him wearing the original Race’s clothes, simply because it fits his “day at the track” persona better.
- I have mized feelings about Katherine and Sarah. In the movie, though I liked Sarah’s character, Jack’s relationship with her seemed a bit out of place, like they added it because they needed a love story somewhere, but I really like Denton as well, and his relationship with the newsies, so I don’t exactly want Katherine to be the reporter. BUT THEN I ALSO LOVE KATHERINE SO. BLURP. I don’t know. It’s complicated.
- When I refer to Les Jacobs in my stories, I mean the angelic, faithful Les Jacobs from the 1992 movie who played tin can drums and looked up to Jack like he was his hero. Not the overly sassy, disrespectful turdball who blinks morse-code and whines at scabbers from the musical. (I honestly don’t really know why I can’t stand musical!Les, but I can’t.)
- In my stories, Spot Conlon is the Version from the movie. I like the idea of a suave, intelligent kid who runs a whole world even though he’s smaller and skinnier than everyone else, who can summon an army of angry kids with a brandish of his cane, and who goofs around with Race and Boots. However Tommy Bracco will remain a Brooklyn boy, a sort of OC I created on a whim: a short yet extremely buff boy named Cookie. Unlike Spot, who will snap his fingers and let his goons rip you apart, Cookie will just rip you apart all by himself. Cookie is Spot’s second in command.
- Boots is actually an angel and I love him. Never forget about Boots.
