Author has written 10 stories for Dresden Files, and Peter Pan.

Greetings, weary traveler! You can call me Griff. That is not my name, but it's a name I respond to.

I joined FanFiction.net to share some stories I've written for the Dresdenverse. Anyone not familiar with the books of Jim Butcher should acquaint themselves posthaste, as they are excellent reads. It has been said, even by the author himself, that his early works are less than perfect. But I think many of us can attest to having written better stories as we've progressed as writers. If you stick with them, I think you'll find the deep and immersive urban fantasy world to your liking.

Calling myself a writer might be a bit of a stretch. I have no published works, and a good portion of my efforts are shared here for your perusal. I do have original stories and worlds that I am hoping to one day put into print, but those days are likely far off. In the meantime, I will add additional fan-fiction stories here as I finish them, in an effort to improve my craft. Who knows, maybe one day I'll write something that isn't set in Butcher's Dresdenverse. Although it seems unlikely.

Constructive criticism is always welcome. That's the point, after all. Hearing what you think I could or should have done to improve my work is just as refreshing as hearing that you enjoyed a story. I try to reply to everyone that reviews any of my stories, and I'm more than willing to discuss the process itself, to share my thoughts as well as hear your own.

I don't delude myself into thinking I'm some great storyteller. I have no degree, nor formal training, that would qualify me as such. But over the years, I've found that I have a great many opinions and ideas about things, and the easiest way to express them is to simply sit down and flesh them out. The stories are just as much for my sanity as they are for anyone else's enjoyment. But I hope you enjoy them all the same.

Sincerely,

Griff
