very good story i hope you make more dalca stories

Well, I wanted to say a few things. First well done on that ending, so much could happen from what was done at the end here. Second I am leaving this review, breaking my own rules about rereading stories, to let you know I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story.

As for the story structure itself, it was fast-paced, always moving forward quickly towards a peak. Perhaps because the main character is so different from Woody (my favorite OC) the narrative pace is naturally different. I still don't personally like Dalca's apprentice, though I continue to love Mara and I also really loved the bit with Archive showing up. Giving one of the two mortals who have bested our dragon friend. You did a phenomenal job teasing information about Dalca's past with the other dragons, while giving away very little.

You have a good way of building up motley crews to fight the store's antagonist and I really admire you continuing ability to surprise me with your unique choices.
You have a wizard who is not a wizard and his grandmother is maybe the Summer Mother, his crafting Goblin friend who used to be a changeling, a Wamp punk girl who has issues with feeding, a leprechaun rat-man dealer in goods, his minor talent wizard friend who enjoys yoga, a smattering of council members, a legendary Salamander as a familiar, and a fey creature who Shepard souls with a liking for modern clothing and the color purple.

And in this series you have a True Dragon mercenary forced to do good because of his name and past, a water fairy with a love of violence and is very powerful, a "not-goth" apprentice who plans for her master's death, two enemies turned allies one of which was his prisoner when Dalca worked for Nazi's.

Not to mention the many enemies and challenges your saga's protagonists face... So much is going on, these stories really are equal or better than the cannon stuff that Jim Butcher has put out.

Well talk about going from 0 to 80, so much was going on. Our mercenary cursed anit-hero dragon Dalca is working for Nazi's to summon an old one (literally the exact opposite of his entire story last time). Suddenly the compound is under attack from Warden's including McCoy, and he slaps Dalca around really driving home the power of Wizards who really got it. Not only showing how vulnerable he can be, but also how his fight against the outsider before was while equal not the peak in terms of power. Well done, sir. If many of these Nazi characters are sticking around then great job showing how they work, if they were minor NPCs then I'd say you overdeveloped them, we'll see how that works out but i have faith it'll all work out great.

Also your story seems to have suddenly gone from 10% to 100% complete. I'll be sure to make time and read the rest of it this weekend. Once I've read it through I'll be sure to review it the second time through, give a proper analysis instead of knee jerk reactions from enjoying your writing.

Please continue as I loved your dalca story I'm living how they are all interconnecting together and your skill in writing believable characters and the humor you inject is so much like the actual dresdan files it's spooky

What a dark start to the story. I can envision it quite well comic book style, to the design of Mike Mignola's hellboy. The pros: people die. You are not afraid of killing off characters, innocent or not. Very vicious and believable. I also like how Dalca can't understand the language used in the ritual, showing he is not THAT old or all-knowing. I'd like to think that the ritual would have only worked once it was been repeated enough times for the bronze statue to melt and cover the sacrifice, to show the sacrificer's diligence to the old god, and would not have worked if Dalca's suggestion of iron was used. The use of Ebenezer's presence is done very well. You don't see him too much, yet you can tell Dalca fears him on some level. And Dalca fearing something really adds a lot to his character. As with always, you are great at character building, even for minor ones like the Nazi sorcerer and the captured warden.

The cons: I've always felt Mara to be too OP. A small sprite able to handle water magicks so well she can kill people so easily by manipulating the water content in their bodies? As well as changing facial features and inks? I'd like to know what the drawbacks of her powers. I am guessing Mara is loyal to Dalca like how Toot-toot is loyal to Harry, perhaps more so for some reason, but I'd like to see if Dalca genuinely cares for her or is just using her because of her powers. I hope you can explore that in future chapters. I am sad that the tortured warden died, and didn't manage to throw a death curse at Dalca. It'll be cool to show that though restrained through the manacles, perhaps a "lite"/seeped out version of a curse could befall Dalca (seeing as it would be all the wizard's life source. that has gotta count as something despite the torture.. right? hahha), and he wouldn't realise it till much later/end of this arc. I could understand why the female warden didn't. But a death curse has gotta be on the tortured warden's mind. Perhaps he would be conscious that the curse couldn't be too big or it wouldn't have worked (like Margaret and Cassius's choices). That's my suggestion anyway. Can't wait to read more :)
