On John's computer, there is a file. And in that file is a word document. And in that word document is a list. A list that John admittedly reads more than he updates, but one he is very fond of nonetheless. I really wanted more about John being stuck in the well, at the end of TFP The Final Problem, but I haven't found that many fics, so I wrote one myself! A John-centric, slight John-whump fic taking place while he's stuck in the well, and a bit after he gets out.

Here, of course, is where the idea blooms thick and inky in his mind, and has nothing to do but claw at the inside of his cranium.

In "The Lying Detective" Sherlock told Faith Smith (well, Eurus really) "You're suicidal, you're allowed chips. Trust me, it's the only perk." What if Sherlock actually attempted suicide, and was caught by John and Mycroft in the act? I tried to keep them in character as best I could. Rated M for mentions of self-harm, drugs, and suicide/suicidal thoughts. Mild language warning.

Percy didn't care that he was crying, he didn't care that he was sore and scared and scarred and tired and hungry. He didn't care that the fight in him that had kept him alive these long, long years was slowly sputtering and falling. He didn't care about anything, except for his family who wrapped their arms around him hard enough to stop him from breaking completely.

Instead of making Sherlock say he doesn't want to die, Culverton Smith forces Sherlock to repeatedly confess that he loves John before his death.

Sherlock accidently bumps into John who had been in the shower before and sees his scar for the first time. John caves in to letting him deduce the wound and Sherlock finds out the secrets about the background story of the injurie. Takes part in the early relationship and is full of trust and friendship between the both. Sherlock is impressed by the soldier s courage and stamina.

Sherlock loves looking at the stars. He waxes eloquent about their beauty, causing John to make a revelation in a quiet moment. Beta read by Sherlock1110. For a young lady who is having a difficult time of it.

Sherlock was freaking out. Properly, truly freaking out. And it was all because of a box of sweets, Runtz to be precise.

He would be lying if he said he hadn't decided to settle on this place as a regular because of the young man that came in everyday and stared longingly at the window for hours.

Sherlock Holmes realises his new flatmate cares about him. It's information he doesn't know how to handle. Basically, the story of how Sherlock discovers love, and of how this changes him completely. Mostly canon compliant. Predominantly Johnlock, but other characters appear too, because love comes in different forms.

He hates working, mind you, and the early hours are brutal, but the regular customer he has at 7:05 am every day, well him he doesn't hate.

On Ella's advice, Sherlock writes letters to John, letters he never intends him to see. The letters lead to discussions. The discussions lead to changes in their lives.

Sherlock's big brother awaited his fate, knowing that the last thing he would see would be the face of the person he loved most pulling the trigger. Post-The Final Problem one-shot. Sherlock and Mycroft have a moment together after a nightmare.

John is in pain but when a friendly massage turns into something more, what might have been a one-time occurrence slowly becomes an odd habit. There are some things they don't discuss at Baker Street.

John cannot understand why Sherlock even wants to look at him after the horrible way he acted, and his guilt is destroying him. Post season 4, set after "The Lying Detective" but not compliant with "The Final Problem."

Mrs Hughes forgot something, and returns to the Abbey to retrieve it. An unexpected nightcap ensues.

A little girl calling them both her daddies is all it takes for John and Sherlock to realize the obvious: they're a family now. (Parentlock.)

A few years post-TFP, John decides he wants a second parent for Rosie. When he tells Sherlock that he's ready to re-marry, the detective offers his particular skills in support of his best friend.
