![]() Author has written 7 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Run Lola Run/Lola Rennt, and Avengers. Hi! I'm FlamesOfHestia, age 15, and I've been on FanFiction since 2015 (long time I know). As you can probably guess from my name, I'm in the PJO/HoO fandom, and that is the one I plan to write most of my fanfiction for, but I'm also in Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Divergent, Maze Runner, ASOIAF and Marvel. As you might be able to tell from my name, I'm also a very hope-fueled, optimistic and eager person. I decided to start writing fanfiction after reading some very good fanfiction for PJO/HoO, and searching for fanfics of some of my daydreams. After not finding certain ones, I decided I would have to write them myself. That doesn't make me a good writer, by any means. I've always been more of a maths/science person (in fact I excel at maths, about 4 years ahead of my age group) but I know that writing technique is something that is easier to improve than plot imagination. I know I said I was hope-fueled, but that doesn't mean I don't have a dark side. I do intend to write some darker stories, partly because I am not squeamish in the slightest (previously wanting to be a surgeon) and partly because I do have a rather creepy imagination. I'm also bisexual. Out to my mum and dad, and all my close friends as well as some of my acquaintances. It's one of those things where I want the whole world to know and not care. I don't have a problem telling anyone who asks me (in fact I relish the opportunity), but as anyone who is queer will know, telling people face-to-face when you want them to know is the single hardest thing in the world. Finally, and most importantly, I'm a Christian. I have been for two years, and I'm the only one in my family (so don't give me that indoctrination nonsense - completely my own choice). I am a full evolutionist, and I relish the new discoveries that science brings. After all, most new scientific discoveries, specifically those about the nature of time, fully support and strengthen my beliefs as I search for a little bit of common sense in the view of the worth of existence. I don't believe ANYONE goes to hell (which is just oblivion anyway) - God loves you too much to do that. :) Seriously though, why would Jesus' sacrifice not work for everyone? Human equality, come on. Hope you enjoy reading my works! FlamesOfHestia |
