(I think it's time to update this mess)

Hi there, I'm Blushweaver. Just another writer who got sucked into the Skip Beat fandom and can't get out, despite writing a few other stories. One day I will escape. One day. But for now, I'm also on the discord group so say hi if you feel like it!

I am writing for several reasons. First, to improve and one day write my own original fiction. Second, because its fun and I like it. And third, because I feel bad for not finishing stories so gosh freaking darn it, I will finish TPC, I will!

Writing has slowed down as I am a new proud mom of a healthy boy. He was born end of 2019. That, along with work and just general life, finding time to write has become harder, but I won't stop!

Now for some other general housekeeping:

Gender: Female

Favorite books/anime/manga: The Stormlight Archive, Mistborn, Harry Potter, Deltora Quest… all of the fantasy novels!

Question 2: Yes, the name Blushweaver comes from the book Warbreaker which was written by my most favorite author ever Brandon Sanderson!

Question 3: I have not taken any formal writing classes but I've studied a lot on my own. This includes lots of podcasts, youtube classes, and other resources. If you're looking to improve, I highly recommend the podcast Writing Excuses. Its hosted by Brandon Sanderson (Who is an amazing fantasy Author. He finished the WOT series after Robert Jordan died.) accompanied by several other authors, a webcartoonist, an audiobook narrator, and so many other people! The wealth of knowledge and experience in this podcast is just incredible.

Question 4: Yes, every picture I use is drawn by me. :)

Question 5: So it's been years since I started writing and I've improved a lot. Though my ego itches to take down my first stories, I will leave them up if only to show people that you can improve over time.

Random comment: I think I’m a better storyteller than a writer. One day when my grammar/spelling and such catches up with my storytelling, I’ll try publishing a book. (And you can bet it’s going to be epic fantasy romance!)
