Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter. "Live by the foma that make you brave and kind and healthy and happy." I generally don't care for crossovers, so don't expect them from me. As far as shipping goes, I like Hermione with almost anyone but Ron, though I'm not against most ships so long as they're interesting and make some sort of sense. Anything I write will be mostly concerned with Hermione, Harry, and the twins because they were my favorite characters. My thoughts are that if I'm doing this purely for enjoyment, I'm only going to worry about the things I care about in it. In a related note, you have every right to stop reading anything I, or anyone else, writes at any time. I give up on fics all the time. If you can't stand the writing, characters, or story, why are you wasting your time? And to then waste more time blasting it in an oftentimes incredibly rude and hurtful review? What exactly is the point of that other than to hurt someone you don't even know? Helpful criticism should always be welcomed with open arms. Hurtful attacks are unnecessary. Updates might take me a while. I prefer having an entire story to post at one time so that I can make sure it doesn't contradict itself before posting it rather than posting as I go and having to hope I remember every detail I wrote. Like in Back To The Disaster when I wrote in the prologue that Percy had been talking to Hermione before realizing in my universe it would be impossible upon re-reading the transition between stories. I tend to get wordy, so this is a real issue for me. Speaking of which, that's another cause for delay. As much as I criticize paid authors like Stephen King for going off on wordy tangents that really have no impact on the story, I have the tendency to do just that and it's horribly irritating. Editing out my babbling sometimes takes quite a while. Babbling instead of writing something relevant takes longer. I'm posting the final story in my Steal the Glamour From Death trilogy as I write it. It's called "Just For One Day" and will probably be published in spurts. I do not, and will not, have a regular update schedule. This is because (1) I work at a 24 hour business. My work and sleep schedule are all over the place. If nothing else in my life runs by a regular schedule, it's unfair of me to expect myself to write and update on one. (2) This third story has been incredibly hard for me to put together because I've gone completely off the novels now. What I'm posting is my sixth attempt. I'm posting as I go mostly to ensure I won't delete the whole gorram thing again in frustration. (3) Who knows where thoughts come from? They just appear. As such, I will write as they come. Please don't repost my stories. If you want to see them elsewhere, send me a message and let me know. I'll either post it there myself or give you permission or ask that you leave my words alone depending on the case. Any way you cut it, these are my words and all I get for them is the thought ownership, so I'd appreciate it if no one took that little bit from me. |
