![]() Author has written 17 stories for Kingdom Hearts, Degrassi, and Fire Emblem. Author's Note: Chapter 7 is finally live. I'm not even going to lie, I straight-up stopped writing for two weeks to play Xenoblade. Honestly, this "review" of Forgotten is turning more and more into a full-blown rewrite... ( -_-) Hi. I'm Lunar Abyss, the author formerly known as KH-Akyra. We've come a long way since that old name, huh? How about a little introduction then. I'm a software developper with a love for video games and fashion. I spend most of my free time either playing video games or writing, though I use writing as a way to relax and let myself be a little creative. I mostly play JRPGs, with Kingdom Hearts being my favourite series since I started playing way back in 2002. I am also incredibly passionate about Final Fantasy XIV, an MMORPG I have been consistently playing for the last six years. I main Summoner, but I switch to White Mage when necessary. I love to challenge myself in this game and always strive to get better by raiding Extreme, Savage, and even some Ultimate fights. I try to carry that attitude with me through all aspects of life and I'm always looking to improve, whether it be in gaming or writing, so any constructive feedback on my stories is always appreciated. I can always be reached through PM, but you can also find me here: Twitter: @MoonlightAbyss The Take My Hand series This story is, at its core, a retelling of Kingdom Hearts with my original character, Akira. I plan to follow the entire series until Kingdom Hearts 3 (or even further beyond, if Nomura blesses us with another game). I began writing this epic saga in 2004 when I was a cringy, emo, 11-year-old who thought she was too cool for school and can do no wrong. I tried to write something edgy and created a story with awful grammar, terrible pacing and an annoying Mary Sue in the process. Looking back, it all makes me wince, to be honest. I wrote for the sake of writing without a firm plan on the direction my story was going in; I quickly lost my muse for the story, abandoned it, and fell off the face of the earth. I apologize for that; I should have at least put a note in my profile. As for Akira, I feel like I did her dirty in my original story. I love OC focused stories, and I absolutely adore my OC. But, mix a cocky 11 year-old with access to the Internet and Microsoft Word, and you get an awful and cringeworthy Mary Sue. During my time away, I still consistently thought about her, and always felt this sense of regret that I never finished her story, or wrote her in the proper way she deserved to be written. It is for this reason that I decided to completely rewrite the An Extra Heart series, and rename it to Take My Hand. I want to write something more than just another "Retell Kingdom Hearts with an OC" story and, damnit, I'm going to do my best. Degrassi stories I have written 13 stories for the Degrassi fandom, all of them during the Eli/Clare hype of season 10. Although most of them are EClare romance stories, some of them may edge on the Angst and Hurt/Comfort genres. These stories really ignited my love for writing romance, and I hope to write more of that genre in the future! The stories will remain up for those who would like to read them, but I will not be writing for that fandom anymore. Other works It doesn't happen often but, when an idea worms itself into my head and bothers me for days on end, sometimes I write it out! The stories usually consist of oneshots or small fluff pieces. So far there's only a Fire Emblem: Three Houses story, but who knows what the future holds! :) Currently working on: Rewrite of Forgotten: 7/39 chapters complete * FANART * I love getting fanart from you guys; it really puts such a huge smile on my face! Please don't be shy to send them to me! |
