I am a seventeen year-old girl. I love to read and write, otherwise I wouldn't be here, would I?

As far as fan fiction goes, I read/stalk Full Metal Alchemist, Bleach, Kingdom Hearts, and Final Fantasy. I dip into others too, but not regularly, usually just for amusement or a craving I'll get.

And my OTP will always be Royai.

I'm a mean person and also something of a masochist. When I get bored, I inevitably find myself coming here to purposefully look for bad fan fiction. It hurts my soul to read, but damn is it funny.

Right now I'm really into Bleach and FMA, because they're what I'm currently reading/and watching the former. So why, you may ask, haven't you written any fics for them? 'Cause I haven't written anything good yet, I reply. But just you wait.

I'm a huge bookworm. Sometimes I have more books in my bed than pillows. I like reading fantasy because I think that the whole teenage non-fiction drama is a little boring. Why read about something that I could just go out and do myself, or turn on the news for? And blah blah blah to your supposed character development in those stupid chick-romance novels. I hate those.

So I like fantasy, but I'm rarely satisfied with the usual might-and-magic stories. No, what I like is fantastic realism. Fantistoricals. Look up George R. R. Martin if you're unsure about the genre. Better yet, read his books, but don't blame me if your virgin eyes get hurt.

I also like modern faerie-tales. Not modern fairy-tales as in "high school Cinderella." I mean, faeries who like to dress up human punks and run around NYC stealing candy from babies and socks from the Laundromat, those kinds of stories. Once again, if you're not sure what I'm talking about, look up books by Charles de Lint, or Holly Black and Cassandra Clare.

While we're at it, let's get one thing cleared up. I'm sorry, but I don't really like vampires. Maybe they're just overplayed. I think if I had a choice, I'd choose werewolves over them. I'd rather run around as a wolf than suck blood.

I haven't got much in the way of talent, but writing, same as my photography, is like breathing to me. I can't not do it, and as Isaac Asimov once said, I do it for the same reasons, because it's involuntary and I'd die if I didn't. My fingers constantly flex for a pen, keyboard, and my mind never seems to rest. As for my camera, well, I might as well sleep with it like a lover besides the pillows. Most people think I have two very blue eyes, but they're wrong. I've got one eye, a fathomless lens as black and bright as spilt oil. It's my life.
