I ENJOY WRITING

Growing up I'd always invisioned myself to travel the world and be the guy who told amazing tales of his adventures at parties and such. Once you grow up however, you realize it isn't a simple task as you make it out to be, or perhaps you just have more mental barriers holding you back. The hell if I know. I do know something tho'.

I enjoy writing.

For a long time I've been feeling like a husk. The shadow of a man who wanted to do great things but fell into mediocrity. A testament to how much one can stray from his goals. It is because I'm 20 years old and I have yet to finalize a single one.

I haven't given up on my dreams, but since I can't accomplish them right now for several reasons. I will escape into paragraphs that can morph new worlds and take me away from everything that hurts. It's stupid, I know. But writing offers me a way out, and when I see someone review one of my works, and I see that, that person is content and I was able to share the experience and emotions that I wanted to with them; I feel alive. I feel like someone understands me even tho' it has nothing to do with me, or well, at least most parts.

I hope that wasn't too weird.

I love writing.

This is just poetic by the way, I mean I'm not depressed or anything; just thought it would look cool. Oh but some of the things are for real, like travel the world and stuff.
