Ho hum. I'm a UK gal who loves magical dragons, big apocalyptic explosions, kung-fu fighting swords action and mystical weirdness in her fictions, video games and TV shows. I tend to do action/adventure fantasy genfic. More recently I seem to have got the crossover bug; I enjoy writing about the interactions between characters that would otherwise never meet and the hijinks that follow.

I write purely for fun. Nonetheless, I strive to do the best I can whilst seeking to improve and better my writing, too. Practice makes perfect! Reviews are greatly appreciated but are by no means necessary.

Status 15/02/14: Been a while since I've been on here. Just been unwell, busy... Managed to edit and upload new chapter today.

Status 22/04/13: After being away from the internets for five months or so due to illness, I decided it would be a good idea to use this profile as a way to keep people informed of my fanfic related comings and goings. At the moment I seem to be in good health (touch wood) so I'm currently working on the edits to chapter 13 of Lost. My aim is to get it up within the next two weeks, but real life can (and often does) conspire to get in my way, so... no promises.

One thing I will say is that I will definitely finish Lost. There is no danger of it dying because all the creative work is done. The first draft of the entire fic is more or less finished. It just need editing. Lots and lots of editing.

23/04/13: Although I'm fairly okay, it's apparent that I'm still recovering from this blasted illness. My brain has decided that it's now going to be an ass and not co-operate with me any more, so I've decided to take a little break from Lost for the rest of the week, and come back to chapter 13 on the weekend. I really don't want to leave everyone hanging, but at the same time I don't want to stress myself so much that I go into relapse.

15/06/13: Not really very well at all at the moment, haven't touched any fanfiction since the last time I was here in April frankly. Might have to wait until I'm fully recovered (as in no relapses) before I come back to it. I left Lost on a cliffhanger... but I still haven't fixed all the paragraphs I know need fixing and my brain just isn't there right now. My health has to come first, otherwise I'll probably end up writing a bunch of gibberish for the ending. And no one wants gibberish.

05/07/13: More or less finished chapter 13, should hopefully be up this weekend.

THE LOST DRAGON/DREAM TOMORROW SERIES - DISCONTINUED

This series is dead. Apologies to all those who were originally following these fics, or to anybody new who happens to stumble across them while trawling through the Xiaolin Showdown section. Not going to be updated. I've lost the spark.

I've posted a story outline for Dream Tomorrow, as well as the horribly cheesy ending, so at least everyone will know how it was supposed to end.

TIME CRASH SERIES

This is a series of fics centred around a giant time distortion - dubbed the Time Crash - that has affected the various timelines of different fandoms, and how the characters cope with the changes. I've listed the fics here in chronological order. However, they can be read in any order. Each fic is a self-contained standalone story.

1. OUT OF TIME

Summary: Multi-fandom crossover. After space-time distortions appear across different universes, Xiaolin monk Dashi teams up with a wild cast characters from other worlds in order to prevent all of reality from imploding in a Great Big Crunch - a Time Crash.

2. LOST

Summary: Layton and Luke are sent forwards through time ten years, where Layton has to face off against his own future self in order to uncover the dark secret behind a technologically advanced London of the future. Based on "Professor Layton and the Lost Future" and "Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva".

Continuity: Spin-off sequel to Out of Time. Takes place after the Time Crash. Unlike the other two fics in the series, Lost is not a crossover, and features characters only from Professor Layton canon.

Status: COMPLETE (edit phase). 14 of 17 parts posted.

3. THE STRANGEST THING

Summary: After the Time Crash from Out of Time, Danny finds his life turned upside down as reality decides that he shouldn't exist and changes him into a chicken. And that isn't even the strangest thing that happens.

Continuity: Sequel to Out of Time. Chronologically takes place after Lost. Set completely in the Danny Phantom world, though most of the main ensemble cast from Out of Time make appearances. Will submit this once I've finished posting Out of Time & Lost.
