![]() Author has written 15 stories for Evangelion, and Ranma. Self introduction... kinda... I like Music. When I'm not listening or playing music, I like reading. And when I'm not reading, I'm writing. When you think about it, it makes me not that much of a writer does it? But nevertheless, I write, when ever i feel like it, but nowadays, I barely touch on my works. So don't expect a lot of new stuff. In fact, don't expect anything! I have four or five stories just sitting in my computer, probably never to see the light of day mostly because I only write one short section at a time and that's spread across them! I like Japanese and Greek food. Favorite snack food would be Pringles chips! I really can't think of anything else to say about myself... haha... For those of you who still check on me once in a while, sorry I kinda stopped. For those of you who stumbled into here. Hi, but sorry, no new stuff in a LONG while. Hmm Rant... I think I'll rant about one of my favorite genre's in fanfiction. Alternate Universes. What is it? Well, it basically a story in which characters from a story is used but placed in a different world setting, be it a small change, or a complete change. That is to say, the character's don't change, unless the differing world has changed them, but it is the world that is changed. So... stop making the characters OUT OF CHARACTER FOR NO APPARENT REASON!!! Admittedly, it's an easy trap to fall into since a part of fanfiction is imposing your own will into the character's themselves in your story, but at least, out of respect of the original author, TRY to keep them in character until you MAKE them go out of character! I'm all for changing a character, it's part of character development and I love it, but changing them for the sake of, "Making them better" isn't just disrespectful, but STUPID! It makes NO SENSE!!! Short rant this time. Until i next change this! Locke's quote until next change: When AU's give you headaches, look over to the crossovers. |
