The Zootopia Hockey League

The Zootopia Hockey League (ZHL) is a prominent professional athletics organization in the Zootopia story "Rookie." It consists of 14 teams spread across Zootopia's 5 main districts (Downtown, Savanna Central, Tundratown, Sahara Square, Rainforest District) and their subdistricts. The 14 teams are split into 2 divisions as follows:

Zootopian Division:

The Royals (Western Tundratown)

After a 70-game season that spans from October to April, the top 5 teams in each division face off in the ZHL playoffs. The 4th and 5th place teams in each division face each other in a best of 5 "wild card" round in the first round. The 8 remaining teams are then placed in a standard bracket and face off in continuous best of 7 rounds.
