House

'Kay. On Pottermore, I am a Gryffindor (hence the name:P) However, I always (after all this time) thought I would be in Ravenclaw... So does that make me an anomaly like Hermione?? I only read like a hundred books a year! (actually not that big of an exaggeration) Ah, well, it feels nice knowing that I'm "Brave at Heart"

*Update* So I had to re-take the pottermore sorting quiz, and it put me in Ravenclaw this time, which led to some inner debating. After I thought long and hard, though, I decided to stay with the Gryffindor result I got when I was twelve. You're eleven when you're sorted, and when I was closer to 11, that's where I was put.

Time Period

I've got nothing against the next generation, or Harry and his gang, but my heart lies with the Marauders'. Kinda creepy when you consider the crushes I have on guys who are older than my dad... (yeah, sadly, I went there). Buy honestly, what is not to love about Lily (who I feel the most in-tune with), Sirius (my favorite character since I had just listened to the first three audio books back when I was about eight), James (my newer Marauder crush... What's not to like???), Remus (the kind of guy i'd probably end up with)... (NOT BLOODY PETER. THAT JERK IS NOT MY FRIEND!!!!!). I also like Regulus Black; he made some bad choices, but in the end tried to make it up. Snape, however, I just can't seem to like very much. I certainly cannot forgive him like Harry does. I mean I guess maybe he was "the bravest man I ever knew" but...

(If fan of Snape please skip this... I mean no hard feelings, and I agree his is one of literature's greatest characters...)Snape wanted to marry your mum and hated you; Remus was your dad's best mate and your favorite teacher. Who do you name your kid after?

Anyway, I think Draco is sort of forgiven, and I don't think Regulus, who is in the same sort of situation, gets enough credit. Other than him, I'm not too fond of death eaters (Not my daughter, you b*).

Also I'm starting to fall for the next gen, but not all the info JKR is releasing recently. I haven't read Cursed Child and I don't plan on incorporating it into my writing.

Fanfiction (rant)

I am pretty crazy when it comes to canon... If it's not canon, it tends to bug me. There are some things that I am okay with playing with, but other things people change for their story bothers me. I'm sorry, but canon says Ron and Hermione are together, and thats the way it should be. There is no way Ron could have even looked at Draco if he and Hermione had been together even for a minute.

Another thing that drives me nuts: Wolfstar. I refuse to have my mind tainted with such nonsense. Lupin is not gay!! He marries Tonks for crying out loud! They have a son! Such things would not happen if Remus was gay! Sirius is not gay either! Sirius has been described as a sort of lady's man, and lupin says somewhere that "Sirius got all the girls". WOULD THIS BE SO IF HE WERE GAY??? I think not.

Divergent (rant)

With the new movie coming out, everyone seems to be a fan of Divergent. I just wanna put it out there that I liked the series before it became cool. I love Divergent. No, I have to say that I adore Four Tobias. I am Divergent (it would be strange not to be...), between Erudite, Amity, and Abnegation. I'm not stupid brave like the Dauntless, I'm Gryffindor brave. I could never be in Candor; I lie too much. Theo James is wayy hot as Tobias. Like making-me-be-even-more-of-a-fangirl-than-usual hot. I was in love with Tobias when I read the books, though. Theo James didn't change that. In fact, I like Tobias so much that I get butterflies in my stomach when reading.

Percy Jackson (rant)

This is not a real long rant, just me complaining on how different the movies are from the books... It's honestly two different things! This is one where it'd be great to see which kids just watched the movie instead of reading the book, i.e. when covered in school. We read the first one in seventh grade, but my younger brother had already read all the ones that were out. He loved them then. Now, though, I'm the one who's obsessed with them, ie, wanting to read the next one (and this time last! -_-) while he can wait. I do love the way mythology is incorporated; everything that happens (myth-wise) is pretty much what the ancient stories said happened to the other heros.

TFIOS Rant

I have read a lot of cancer books. They are all sad (and so's this one), but usually I can deal. Also, I must say that I don't think I liked the book at first. I fell in love with Gus. I mean, he's perfect. Even in his less-than-perfect ways, he's perfect for me. Another thing that was interesting to me was the fact that some fo Hazel's symptoms my gram had, which was like... shocking. I love Gus.

Nights in Godric's Hollow

This is basically a series of one shots that goes back and forward between James Lily and Harry Ginny. I try to have them dealing with similar things at similar times, but it won't always work. Now completed, although, if you people bug me enough... :D I am going through and editing the first chapters a little, so you may notice minor differences.

The Marauders Sing the Beatles

I wasn't sure if this was going to be a short story, or multi-chapter fic. But I more than one person ask for more, so I'm going to give more! Each chapter will have James and/or Sirius (plus or minus Moony, Lily, and/or Wormtail) singing a Beatles song that yours truly likes. They will all probably be more popular songs of theirs, but who knows? Okay, so yeah... This story is currently on hiatus, but not forever (hopefully). I really want to finish it, but I'm in a different mindset from when I started it and like, it's just... I've lost inspiration.

Lily Meets Hagrid

This is a oneshot about how Lily meets Hagrid (bet you got that from the title, though XD). Anyway, it's my least-read and reviewed story, but it made me happy to write (which is all that matters). I personally think this is the story where I've got Lily, James, and Sirius having the best banter, but you should read it and judge for yourself, right? :) It's just a simple, sweet story about baby!marauders (well 11-year-old Marauders, anyway) and I would suggest it to all.

Potions and Pranks

Okay, this is... Something I wrote for fun because somebody told me I couldn't write a serious ship between Sirius and Snape. It's not meant to be serious (SIrius!) at all... It was a slightly comical, overdramatic piece. I DON"T SHIP THEM! in case you weren't sure... HOWEVER please read for laughs and tell me what you think!!

Rose Weasley's Love Story

This is the story of how one Weasley girl fell in love with a certain Malfoy boy. It's probably one of my longest fics (if not the longest) and I almost feel like I've lost the original voice Rose had. However, that'll happen when you're writing chapters here and there over the course of two years. This story will be finished eventually, but between a lack of reviews and lack of inspiration, I'm probably going to roll with monthly updates at best.

The Stone from the Forest

Admittedly not my best story, nor do I really know how to fix it. It was a great idea inspired by a comment from a friend of mine, but... I don't feel like I did it justice. It might be disappearing for me to re-write it sometime here... We'll see.

Hermione's 21 Birthday

Another so-so story, it's what happened the day Hermione Granger turned 21... and one way she and Mr. Ron Weasley might have gotten together. It was written for a fanfiction challenge (and didn't win). For a couple I ship but don't write often, I think it turned out pretty okay.

Courting Potters

This is my current baby. Basically, it's moments from the lives of James and Lily, Harry and Ginny, and then each of Harry's kids when they're dating (but not yet married to) their significant other. The couples are James and Lil, Harry and Ginny, James Sirius and a muggle OC named Elle, Albus and a younger wizard named Quinn, and Lily L and ??? (to be announced with their own chapter soon!). Originally I wasn't going to write the weddings, but so many reviewers have asked for them that the last five chapters are going to be everyone's weddings.

I have a lot of one shots too that are amazing, but I'm not going to go into them here right now because frankly I don't want to, lol.

Upcoming Stories

1) James Sirius Potter -- A story about James's first year at Hogwarts. Not much else to say, but that I really want to get it done. I love the base; I just need to get it written. I'm not posting any of it until it's mostly done... Grr..

2) Most Ancient and Noble House of Black -- My version of Regulus Black and how he's not a bad person, just a mislead one. I have like three different versions of this story... I really wish I could work out the kinks and get it done.

3) Harry's Eighth Year -- Cliche, maybe. But it's my first story, so I really just want to post it. I started it before I realized that Harry doesn't go back- just Hermione does. I like some of the theme's, though, so I'm going to finish it... I hope.

62. What is the most boring thing you've ever done? Probably the ride from PA to FL when my phone died and I didn't have a mobile charger, my books were in my suitcase, my nook was dead, it was freezing in the car to combat the humidity...

63. What did you do for your last birthday? I worked, at lunch my coworkers showed me an ice cream pie they had gotten me for the occasion, my boyfriend showed up a couple hours later with a dozen roses, and then me, him, and my family went out to dinner and then to a book store.

64. Favourite superhero? I think Spiderman, although Captain America is v attractive... Batman too will always have a special place in my heart.

66. What annoys you about people? When they're overly nosey, fake, rude, and when they act like you have to be stupid and they have to be better than you.

67. Do you sing in the shower? Sometimes... It depends. Not recently.

68. Last person you called and why? My parents because I no longer live at home and they like to stay in contact with me for some weird reason. (kidding about the last part)

69. You find a wallet with $100, would you track down its owner? I think I'd try to... If I had lost it I would be distraught so I would want to help someone as much as possible.
