Hello fellow reader and writers

I would first like to say welcome for checking my profile out and my stories as well. A quick history about myself with fan fiction is that I have been doing it for quite some time. I just haven't really openly shared it as I am now doing here. My first story Harry Potter and The Order has been something I have been cooking up for some time. After reading multiple ones here and on other websites I have decided to go with it. One thing I can already tell you is that the story had gone through changes before I officially posted the first chapter. It delayed it for nearly a year before I finally got the story to where I wanted it and finally began posting.

I will also like to state due to someone pointing some things out to me the story is not fully canon compliant. The conversation went back and forth until I decided to let it go and let the individual win the debate. Hence why if you had been reading the story since the beginning I had changed the summary by taking out 'AU' in particular. I will only state that the big events from the prior years happened while the rest is conjecture.

As for not using a Beta. It is as simple as having to find someone that has the schedule that meshes with mine as well as understand where the story is going. It practically is like finding that perfect someone. I try my best to truly look over each chapter before posting reading it once or twice maybe three times if I felt 'that was rather quick' for grammar or spelling errors. I know some have pointed this out to me specifically and I do say I welcome them with open arms.

While I enjoy all types of reviews. I prefer specific rather than general. Whether it is criticizing an action I took on the plot or admiration I would like if you can elaborate on them. You never know I may just see your view and say 'you know what? the person is right i'll do it the way they suggested.' If that is somehow the case do know expect a quick acknowledgement at the beginning of the next chapter.

Lastly regarding updates. There is no set timetable for the story and eventual sequels to finish. I like many other writers on here do this for a hobby and don't get compensated one bit or we'll be sued to death. I live a normal life with a job and other responsibilities that do take priority over writing fan fiction. One thing I will say is that if I feel there is a hiatus on a story or if I don't see myself writing for a time I will definitely update you the readers on that. It's the least I could do.

(-) Reading Harry Potter and the Order of Merlin gives it a slight backstory. Not a complete companion piece but the premise presented in the one shot is part of the The Order.

(-) I have officially lifted guest reviews. I initially intended it to happen in the sequel but decided why not start now. However, if you expect a response or want to get into a conversation about the story, plot points, how i wrote certain characters I highly suggest creating an account.

(-) While the trilogy will have a romance between characters there will be no lime/lemon whatever you call it scenes in any of the story (doesn't mean I won't write any in the future but when it comes to this story and it's pending sequels don't expect any... since there is a high likelihood the sequel will be rated M)

(-) If you are looking for the list of individuals in the groups... I had taken it down and it will be added on the extra chapter at the end of the story.

(-) For those wondering how many chapters is the story going to be. I can officially state that it will be 24 with an extra chapter that will be considered as a tag for the sequel.

7/16/2015 Darkness Ascending Update

After a two month delay and a slight user error on my part I have begun to sense the releases will be coming in a regular pace. The upcoming chapter after my next release is shaping up to be the longest chapter I have ever written. I'm glad people are still finding the story enjoyable as this is at the end of the day for fun and sharing my ideas of a nice harry potter story.
