2/28/09 - I have a distinct fondness for Severus Snape and he's my protagonist. IMO, he is by far the most interesting of J.K.'s characters. The others were far to black and white for my taste. Even though Dumbledore (who will always be portrayed by Richard Harris in my works) showed some darker tendencies, he stood firmly in the light. None of the other characters showed half the moral ambiguity that Severus did, which was a darn shame as Draco had the potential to be so much more than he was.

And I think Sev deserved better than the unrequited love story. He was always deeper than that. Plus, Lily was far too hurt for it to have been one sided.

(AoS) Sinbad in s2 looks like a man. I like the pairing of Bryn and Sinbad far more than Maeve and Sinbad. Maeve was to hard on them, especially Doubar. And she didn't trust them. So, my works are S/B, no M/S romance. Don't bash me for my preference.

5/29/09 - I have changed my review status to only allow signed reviews.

11/22/10 - I've been bitten by the mythology bug. And Hera is one of my favorite characters, totally misunderstood and yet, really a very powerful and important goddess. I have a few tales in the works, was planning on writting the tale of Zeus' courting her - but it turned into another tale entirely. It's a Prometheus/Hera tale. I may actually publish this if anyone's interested.

1/8/11 - I don't know if anyone ever reads these things but I thought I'd let everyone know that while I'm alive, I'm not happy. My computer suffered a major crash. Major - and I lost a whole lot of information. I'm trying to recoop it all and have been having some luck, but it isn't coming around as quickly as I'd like it to. So, that's the status of my New Year.

I hope everyone else has been having a better one.

6/17/11 - My avatar's art came from George O'Connor's "The Olympians" graphic novels by Second First publishing. I wrote to him and got permission to use his artwork. He graciously said yes and I hope that he approved of what I did to it. So, if you get the chance, visit his blog. There are two of them, one of which is dedicated to the gods alone - he even has a forum on that one where you can post questions and talk to others.
