Author has written 8 stories for Naruto, Game of Thrones, Chronicles of Narnia, Rookie Blue, Revolution, Blindspot, and Detective Conan/Case Closed. "Get lost in nature, and you will find yourself." Paper Faces on Parade: "This. This is what I am. This is who I am. Come hell or high water, if I deny it, I deny everything I've ever done -- Everything I've ever fought for." So You want to know who on earth this Rathorian person is? Well I am me. I'd tell you my name, but well -- that would defeat the point of an alias, now wouldn't it? Anyways, you can call me Rath, or Ian if you're too lazy to type it all out. I was born in the year nineteen ninty-five (1995) and I am a woman. I have been telling stories since I began talking. I've been writing since I could hold a pencil and actually write letters and words. All my life I've lived in a small southern town, but I dream for something bigger. I dream for culture and exposure to new elements. "Life is locomotion. If you're not moving, you're not living. But there comes a time when you've got to stop running away from things, and you've got to start running towards something. You've got to forge ahead. Keep Moving. Even if your path isn't lit, trust that you'll find your way." For as long as I can remember, I've had a soft spot for Superheros. Reading DC graphic novels or comics has always taken the weight off of my shoulders and given me hope that maybe someday, somewhere, there are men and women who truly care and want to do good. I've always been an avid reader and writer, but my true passion lies within music. Hard Rock and Metal are my go to, but it's not uncommon to find me listening to things like Michael Buble or Musicals like Moulin Rouge, Phantom of the Opera, Les. Mis, or Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog. Music expresses things I can neither express socially or through my writing -- it gives me an escape that I very much need, and it's saved my life on more than one occasion. Outside of that, I could never go through life without the presence of a friend -- of the four legged variety anyways. Canines are truly man's best friend, and I love them very much. I'm not as big of a cat fan, but I can tolerate them just as well. Live as You've Never Lived Before: "There's an ancient wisdom I should have heeded long ago -- if only I had recognized its truth applies as much to me as to all men. True happiness is found along a middle road. There lies the balance and the harmony with reason and emotion, not at war, but hand in hand." Reading, writing, art, music -- all of these things have made me who I am. But even before these things shaped me, I found myself drawn into the dangerous world of Sherlock Holmes and his many adventures with his companion Dr. Watson. It was the first book I'd ever read on my own, and it has remained my go to since. I know, no matter my mood, Sherlock's wit will always brighten my day. Over the years I've accumulated a lot of books -- the ones lining the top of my shelves with worn covers and darkening pages, are those that I find myself reading whenever a mood strikes. The Maze Runner series, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Classic Horror Tales, The Hunger Games series, Jurassic Park (l & ll ), The Vampire Academy series, The Game of Thrones series, and Winnie the Pooh are just a few that I can name off the top of my head. But despite all this, everything I've fallen in love with can be found in the wonderful world laid out by the glorious men and women of DC comics. Batman, Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Arrow, Green Arrow, Flash, Kid Flash, Impulse -- each one a hero and a man all the same. To me, they're impossible to not love and I don't know who I'd be without my comics or graphic novels. Open Up Your Mind: "A hero can be anyone. Even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a little boy's shoulder to let him know that the world hadn't ended." So, there you go. Now you know a bit about the enigma that is Rathorian. If you have any questions, your more than welcome to shoot me a PM. If you like any of the same things, again you can shoot me a PM. I don't bite much, I promise. Also, if you read my stories please do review. I am a sucked for constructive criticism. Also, these quotes come from a few superheros: Green Arrow, Flash, Aquaman, and Batman. |
