My sister recommended this story to me yesterday, and I got so hooked that 24 hours later I've read the whole thing.

This is by far one of the best written, most powerful fics I have ever read. You wrote in your last author's note that your goal was to get readers to cry. Well you certainly succeeded-I spent the last hour sobbing! Your conclusion to this was so original and well-planned...I think David Benioff and D.B. Weiss should have asked for your adviceThank you for writing this story and for the time and effort you put into it. It's a masterpiece.

I just finished the entire story. I laughed, I cried. oh s ok much crying. I never thought I would care for such despicable characters. its truly in the spirit of gorge r r martin.

heart wrenching, well written. I dont cared for long winded battles, but you gave JUST the right touch to keep it exciting and moving along for plot.

the same with fluff and lemons. you kept the focus on the story and left the reader to fill in the rest. you kept the tension between characters well tuned.

so much character development. I need to rest now from the high and lows of this story. it took me 6 days. but I couldn't put it down

I really LOVE this Fanfic! Some of the first clips I ever saw of G.O.T was the scenes between Tywin and Arya and I was interested as to what the story was. I've since watched the whole show and I think this plotline had loads of better ends for most of the characters.

Even though there were only a few scenes between Arya and Tywin, I did wonder if wheather Tywin looked at Arya as though she was like another daughter to him and despite that Arya had her aim of killing him, she was also intrigued buy him and his stories. And I love how most of this story was focused mainly on them and their relationship. Because I could see that a sort of Father/daughter relationship was growing between them as the story went on them. Despite her being his hostage it was obvious that he cared about her and would protect her.

I found no other good fanfics of Tywin and Arya at the time I was searching and I was Amazed when I found this one. You really put yourself right into the world of G.O.T and captured each character and plotline really well. I guess it also helps when you know the novels as well as the show.
I remember last year when I read this for the first time and that when it was the chapter of Tywin's death I cried a lot because I was hoping for a better end for him other than death. But looking at it again it was more merciful and fitted the character. But it would have been nice for Aya to have some kind of father figure in her life.

You are a gifted writer and you should be very proud of this masterpiece you've created.
I was very lucky to meet Charles Dance (Tywin Lannister) himself earlier this year at the London comic con convention and he was absolutely Wonderful, he even gave me a hug :D

Wow. That is all I can really say right now. This is one of the best fics I have ever read, I love all of the characters so much! In my opinion they are not the same as either the books or the show - similar, yes but not the same. That doesn't matter to me though because of the way you managed to develop them and their relationships without it becoming sappy and cheesy, in a way I almost like your characters more than the way they are portrayed for the show and books. I very much enjoyed reading this fic and will certainly look forward to reading more of your works.

Fuck Daenerys Targaryen. Without her we’ll have a happier ending even if this is not a bad one. Thank you very much for writing this fanfiction. I binge read it in three days, I’ve enjoyed it very much as I always wondered what would happen to Arya if Tywin recognises his cupbearer, and this did more than satisfy my curosity. This fic has flaws, grammatical and detail ones so I think you’d need to edit it or at least have a beta to do it for you. But still, this is gold, and Lannisters do shit gold after all.

I expect more great stories from you, until then.

Did Lord Tyrell and the others die when the tower fell? You shouldn’t have left it out.

How about the rest of the people who guarded Bran? Did they all die? The Brotherhood as well? It seems as it has been, your story forgets the small details. Nevertheless, it’s still a great one. But it would be better if you remembered the details so the future events do not contradict or completely left the past bits of the story.

I’m glad that Arya didn’t pull that ‘I don’t want to die a virgin’ stunt here. That would be pathetic. But even if she did, it would be appropriate as she is married to Jaime.

Either Jon or Arya should sit on the Iron Throne. Daenerys doesn’t deserve it. She’s not the right person. For this story’s well being I sorely hope that Westeros will not actually bow down to Daenerys Targaryen. This isn’t about her. This is about Arya, The Lannisters and The Starks.
